Fried chicken leg on rice. Best. Eat itm so good. And they have other stuff too. But that fried chicken leg on rice.
The food was super salty and my drink was super sweet.. I gave you two stars for trying but my tongue hurts lol
I have been ordering the beef noodles at this place for almost a decade. I used to love the noodles, but today I’ve had the worst taste ever, oily, greasy and the beef wasnt fresh at all. Very disappointing. They just lost a loyal customer!
First time here in awhile and it didn’t disappoint. I like the variety of options and combinations on the menu. Price also seems reasonable for what you get.
Slightly on the pricier end but decent taiwanese food. Wish there was more variety with the bubble tea. There is not always parking available.
This is our goto Taiwanese place in Burnaby, much better prices than Myst but still has my favorites. I almost always order the crispy chicken nuggets with noodles in soup and it never disappoints!
Too hot to cook at home so decided to go grab noodles for dinner. We shared a bowl of beef tendon noodle, a bowl of beef shank and tendon noodle, crepe roll with egg and corn, chicken nuggets and a bowl of sesame noodles. Chicken crispy and juicy topped with deep fried basil leaves. All tasted pretty good. Tendon needed to be cooked a little longer.
a family member has dined here on several occasions, mainly for lunch. They offer an extensive selection of combo and regular menu items including a big selection of drinks (milk teas, fresh juice, cream latte, shaved ice, etc). Mostly Taiwanese entrees. I had the spicy tofu with minced pork and rice. I asked for less spicy which wasn’t a problem. The prices of the entrees were in the medium price range. It seemed a few locals dine here. The place was clean and had good ambiance. Service was rushed. I told the server I needed a few minutes to look over the menu, and within a few minutes she was standing by our table waiting for the order. It took less than 8 minutes to get my dish and the other ordered dish took longer. I noticed one of the cook’s was chatting on his cell phone while he was cooking. Somewhat discerning when I didn’t notice him wearing gloves. The place is located in a mini strip mall just off Canada Way and Edmonds in Burnaby. Parking was bit of a challenge – either in the small parking lot or on Edmonds (1 hr limit from M – S). Not sure if I will be back.

Like the Taiwan Beef Noodle. However, they rank out of bubble pearl for my favourite bubble tea. The black sesame tea is disappointing with so few sesame.

The food and service is always awesome. never disappointed. keep up the good work
it's good to have pearl house back. love the food and drinks.
2nd time here. Portions were smaller than before, they forget the soup and we had to ask for it after the meal. Then when paying the waitress had said the bill doesn’t include tip (obviously) then we were still decent enough this tip a small amount. Then this waitress had the audacity to ask us to tip more and got angry. I explained that a tip is optional and I’m not paying extra for sub-par service. She gave us a dirty look and stormed off. Absolutely entitled and unprofessional service. NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN!
The beef in the noodle is so tender and tasty you wouldn't go anywhere else. They also had a promo of free drink over $30 food purchase.
The staff here are awesome. They also do a very thorough job of sanitizing the place after each guest. The place has been open for a while but everything is very clean. Highly recommended!
