Pelicana Chicken (Lougheed Mall) 페리카나 치킨 로히드점

First time my girlfriend and I experienced this place, to start off Andrew greeted us right away when we stepped in. He’s a super friendly guy that explain the whole menu to us including some of his recommendations which we went with, we got the combo B that included 2 boneless chicken flavours, and either fried squid or calamari. I ordered the hot devil flavour and he helped us out with the other, which was the original chicken with 3 different sides of sauce so we could sample each. I highly recommend ordering the fried squid over the calamari! Everything was great including presentation and a huge portion for your money. The course also included pickled radish and a corn slaw which is all done in house, we will definitely return next time to explore more of the menu, thanks again to Andrew for his customer service! Me and my friends come here every time we're hungry and it never disappoints. Soy pelicana boneless is peak chicken. If I could change anything, it would be to serve the mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce (very good mozzarella sticks though).

Went in with my dad, service was exceptional! Ordered Combo A to share as we were pretty hungry. We could have easily had 1-2 more people join us as there were still plenty of leftovers. My dad would have liked more veggie options but hey, it's a chicken place after all. Because everything on our platter was deep fried I think I'd get something else to balance it out next time.

Amazing Korean fried chicken! The fried rice cakes they add to each order of chicken is a true staple. Corn salad is delicious as well.

Really liked the chicken. The restaurant has a cool vibe from what I’ve seen, though always gotten takeout. A bit pricey, but generally matches the prices of nearby competitors. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

The staff is unfriendly with a noticeable attitude. There’s an older woman and a younger man (both with identical hairstyles) - both are consistently unfriendly to customers. Be prepared to wait, whether you’re dining in or taking out. The atmosphere inside is also quite unpleasant - it feels like a basement. All the windows are covered, so there’s never any natural light. Definitely not a place I’d return to. I gave it a couple of tries, but the service was just as unfriendly every time.

Big warning, we called ahead for my 7 year old daughter’s egg allergy and mentioned it to our hostess that recognized we called earlier. Even then her tteokbokki came with a giant egg in it, and when we complained we were told twice that we never mentioned her egg allergy! They didn’t want to remake the order and wanted us pick out the egg until I mentioned my daughters egg allergy could kill her!

We’ve eaten at this location before and enjoyed the food. On this visit the soy chicken was very, very salty, and the chicken was very oily like it was friend at too low a temperature. Very disappointed does not begin to explain how much this place has gone downhill.

The food took about 30 to 40 minutes to arrive, and the restaurant was nearly empty, with only three tables occupied, including ours. We ordered Combo B. Unfortunately, the calamari was cold and hard, tasting quite old. The chicken was okay but not juicy at all and also served cold. We decided to give this place a try since we usually go to BBQ, but unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

We waited 30 minutes for our food but we didn’t mind because we thought the chicken was going to be freshly made since it was not busy. Wrong! When we got our chicken it came out half warm half cold like they took it out of the fridge and microwaved. Rice cakes were hard. None of it was hot. What a shame because the food would have been good if it was hot. Very disappointing.
