FOOD HAS WORM AND INSULT CUSTOMERS! I used to come here often for their Bún Bò Huế, but this visit was beyond disappointing. I WILL NOT be coming back and definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone.
The broth had a strange soapy taste, and to make it worse, I even found a worm in it! It makes me question whether they even wash their vegetables properly.
When I politely brought it up to the waitress, she was saying things in Vietnamese wondering why I did not tell her the request while she was mopping the floor, she called me names in Vietnamese (assuming I wouldn’t understand) and her coworker came out to our table, looking at the worm in my bowl “I don’t know, what do you want me to do ?” which was both rude and unprofessional.
The food quality, hygiene, and service were all terrible. For your own health and safety, I’d strongly recommend AVOIDING this place. Visit at your own risk.

Not sure what happened to this place. Used to go here and the food was VERY good with large portions. Visited recently and the portions are still large, but the food quality went downhill massively and it's terrible now. Ingredients didn't taste fresh, broth was gross, everything just tasted off and was a struggle to eat.

Been going here for a long time. Was fine going here. But service is starting to lack mannerism and becoming a bit rude. There was also this server lady that has been coughing and not covering her mouth, disappointing especially you are in front of customers eating.

We used to be frequent visitors to this restaurant, but today’s experience made me reconsider coming back.
First, the service was disappointing. Our server seemed impatient and dismissive — she nodded at our requests but didn’t follow through. For example, the bean sprouts we specifically asked to have boiled were brought out raw.
Second, the pho quality has declined noticeably. Instead of the balanced portions we were used to, the bowl had only a couple of lean beef slices and an overwhelming amount of fat pieces, which made it extremely unpleasant to eat. This is a big change from the portions we used to enjoy here, and I hope the restaurant can look into their ingredients and preparation quality. No one likes heart attacks:)
Lastly, the restroom situation needs urgent attention. The urine odor was very very very strong, and if you’re seated nearby, it makes it very difficult to enjoy your meal.
We really used to like this place, but I hope management can address these issues so that regulars like us can feel good about returning. For now we won’t be coming back. 😩

Me and my girlfriend tried to order food because we were hungry. My Girlfriend didn't like Green Onions and Cilantro on her 'Phoa beef ball noodle soup'. She asked the staff to removed it before serving, The Staff Agreed. Later on when they served her the 'Phoa Beef Ball Noodle soup', They still added the Green onions and cilantro.
It was the chubby lady who she asked. This has happed multiple times we go there and my gf had to removed them 1 by 1 on her food. Poor staff communication giving it a 1 star.
I'm giving it a 4 star now because the previous servers were kinder and understandable.
You’d find it difficult and challenging to find better food than at this gem of a restaurant in Burnaby. The food is delicious and the portions beyond generous. I live in Victoria but absolutely visit this restaurant whenever visiting the Vancouver area. You’ll be doing yourself a big favour eating here…trust me. Bravo to the delightful front staff and 3 cheers to the great cooks. I’ve added a pic of combo #60 which is prawns and lemongrass chicken on vermicelli noodles with salad and soup. Simply divine. I know that Kingsway in Burnaby has loads of Asian restaurants but don’t get fooled. I stand by my belief this is the best Pho I’ve had. Dan.

🌿Update 8/2/2025: We got 2 #40s (lemomgrass chicken with rice) and they were great!!!! I appreciate that this place is a great value with good portions...the marinade on the Chicken is amazing and juicy and complimented beatifully with a little fish sauce... very tasty!!! Not the first time ive had this, but its been fantastic and tasty every time. Thank you, guys 💕🥗🌿😀 ____ Decently good and consistent. Salad rolls are made fresh, chicken pho is good. Crab special soup is good but could use some more flavor.
