Chef Hollie rocks!! She did a corporate event for me and it was so fun and well-received. She even accommodated gluten-free. I loved it so much that I will go back to her store to do a class. The cookies were so delicious as well as looked fantastic. Love getting to support a local company and boss-lady, a two-time Food Network winner to boot! Ps- the bakery on Hastings is so fun and has lots of gluten-free options. Worth checking out 100%

Well, punk rock pastries lost any future business from me that’s for sure. I’ve always wanted to order something from here and now I have an event I could do so for. My friend who is throwing the party with me called to inquire about a small custom cake. Yes, it was short notice so we were prepared to be told it might not be possible. However, immediately after asking if they do custom cakes the lady answering the phone asked how soon we would need it without asking any further details. When my friend told her it would be for 3 days from now the lady just laughed at her and said ‘ya that’s not happening we are way too busy with markets and other things’. My friend actually hung up because she was so rude! I won’t be thinking of ordering from them for my next event

I’d been meaning to stop in for a while and I was not disappointed! I had the caramel apple fritter and split the frankenweenie cookie w a friend. 10/10 would recommend.

After investing years of effort I feel every devoted craftsperson/artist reaches a point where they excel at what they do, and makes the decision to focus on what they truly believe in. When you're faithful to your vision of how things should be done you realize that the customer isn't always right, and that you can't please everyone and shouldn't try.
From the second you enter (or rather, even before you enter) Punk Rock Pastries it should be obvious you're not dealing with a generic, insipid chain store: you're entering the domain of a creative, uncompromising entrepreneur (and her great staff) that has evolved a signature approach to pastries. Nope, it's not a place everyone will be comfortable, and that's exactly the plan.
I've tried a range of cookies, cupcakes, doughnuts, and cakes from PRP and though not every one of them have been my jam, I have loved most of them. Just like at any restaurant not everything on the menu is going to suit your tastes. I will continue to return to Hollie because the things that did appeal to me are unbeatable and unique to this place.
I've had a couple custom cakes made by Hollie and many months later the lucky folks that got to try a piece or two still mention how visually incredible they were, and how great they tasted.
Highly recommend Hollie and her crew at PRP!

Donuts, tarts, cookies, sausage rolls, pavlova, bars, cakes, lions, and tigers, and bears. Oh my! NSFW items along with SFW items. Items you may have never seen before. Quite a few gluten free options, too!

I bought the Halloween 🎃 pastries a couple year ago - the fondant (don’t know for sure) around the pumpkin was so good! I usually don’t like it on other cakes. Chocolate brownie cake on the inside. 😋 Early February I got a cookie pie - didn’t know what to expect but delicious! Cookie 🍪 crust on top and fudgey on the inside. Can definitely share if it’s too much for one - or just nibble on it throughout the day.
The prices are quite fair for the amount of handcrafted work and quality of ingredients.
They are also one of the only places I know that have fun adult themed baked goods. 😉
