Hosting our wedding at Riverway was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It is such a beautiful and centrally-located venue. The ceremony space is right by the water and is truly so stunning in the summer. The indoor reception space is large with wooden beams and natural lighting, which meant we didn’t have to invest in as much décor as well as it was already naturally beautiful. Bradley is such an incredibly kind and patient person – we had so many questions in the months leading up to the wedding, and he answered all of them in such a timely and thoughtful manner. He was so helpful for our rehearsal as well and he even checked in with us in-person on the day of, to congratulate us and to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We feel so lucky that we worked with Bradley for the wedding – even though he must deal with so many couples, he definitely made us feel cared for and was a big reason for why we were so happy with our venue choice.
Additionally, because the venue is owned by the City of Burnaby, we really appreciated that there were no hidden fees that we had to account for such as administrative fees, taxes, or service charges. The bartending and event staff were also very attentive and kind, and the buffet line ran very efficiently despite that we had 200+ guests. We got so many compliments from our family and friends on how beautiful the wedding was and most importantly, how delicious the buffet was (in particular, the mashed potatoes, striploin, and sticky toffee pudding). We feel so lucky that we were able to snag a spot in the summer for our wedding at Riverway – it is definitely one of the best venues in Metro Vancouver and we would highly recommend it to any couple!

I am so happy we chose Riverway as our wedding venue. Everything went perfectly. The whole process was very organized and the staff were all awesome to deal with. Bradley was our contact through the whole process and he was very kind, professional and patient with my million and 7 questions! All my quests were very impressed by the food and many said it was best wedding food they have ever had. The desserts were also delicious. I also received a lot of compliments on how beautiful the venue is. The staff were very on top of the buffet and making sure food was replaced as soon as getting low and the chef was able to accommodate the few guests I had who had special dietary needs. One of the reasons I chose Riverway was the very transparent pricing as well. I compared several venues before choosing and I especially liked how straightforward the pricing structure is at Riverway and it made it easy to plan my budget. I have zero regrets or complaints and could not have chosen a better place to share my special day.
Update: Two weeks after wedding I am still getting calls and texts about how good the good the food was. Many friends shocked two vegetarians had such good meat dishes and said the prime rib was perfection.

Very disappointed Quality of food is horrible The AAA New York steak ( Steak and Fritz) was super chewy its as chewy as puppy’s toy for almost $50/pax meal I was hoping for something much better Poke bowl is another nightmare , rice is hard and cold , salad was dry and tasteless Atmosphere was good and relaxing but server not friendly make the whole stay rather awkward

Bradley Binkley guided us through the entire booking process and handled all the details for setting up the venue, showing great attention to detail and quick responses to our inquiries. We needed a customized menu to meet Buddhist vegetarian and allium-free requirements (no onion, garlic, chives, leeks, or shallots), and both Bradley and Chef Mok made sure everything was perfectly tailored to our needs. Our guests raved about the menu Chef Mok created, and many said they would return just for the food alone. Laura, who supported us during the tasting and on our wedding night, along with the entire Riverway staff, was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. There is no doubt we picked the perfect location for our big day. Riverway Clubhouse offers a modern venue with a touch of rustic charm. I love how the reception area is connected to an outdoor patio and leads seamlessly to the ceremony area, right beside a small lake with a fountain and overlooking the lush greenery of the golf course. The facilities and landscaping are impeccably maintained. I must also mention how stunning the sunset was, casting its glow right above the fountain in August and creating a magical scene for our sunset photos. This is something we will never forget! We are so happy we chose the plated dinner option, which was a crucial requirement for us. The food was amazing, and many of our guests complimented it, especially the dessert buffet. The serving staff and bartenders were professional and fun to talk to. Supervisors Bradley, Laura, and Tegan were friendly and accommodating with all our requests, making the wedding planning process smooth and worry-free. Thank you for making us feel special.
