Dropped in for a very late lunch. Lots of street parking is available. Their nice patio stands out among the ageing businesses nearby. Seating inside is minimal as a lot of their business is takeout. Shared the Feijoada which was hearty, filling and unctuous. This is blue collar food at its best. We also had Bolina de Queijo - who can resist deep fried cheese covered in batter! and Beef Rissoles which were good. Rounding out our meal was the delicious and thirst quenching fresh squeezed juices. We had an orange juice and an açai juice. However, the absolute stars of their menu are the house made chocolates. We each had one and oh, swoon!! These cannot be missed! We also took home a banoffee mousse and a chocolate passion fruit mousse and had these a day later. Highly recommend these as well! Thank goodness we don’t live really close or we’d be dessertaholics 😄

I had a terrible first experience with the restaurant... I traveled from Port Coquitlam to have lunch there... I had won two meal vouchers and received the vouchers by email... when I got there the person who served me said that I needed to have the physical vouchers and that I could not cancel the vouchers that way, however I never received any physical vouchers because I won these vouchers at a feijoada that took place at the church... it was annoying, I wasted time and the person who was there showed no interest in helping me or trying to check with the person who provided the vouchers, he simply left me aside and continued serving other people... it was not cool, I am the customer, I am not the one who has to go after solving a problem with vouchers provided by Mineiros.

The best brazilian food in the lower mainland area! Fresh and selected ingredients, great service, great place. Almost feels like being back home (Brazil). Highly recommended the feijoada and the best carrot cake that you will eat. Also the brazilian buffet serving style is the best!!!!
