Took 35mins to make one bahn mi, watched the guy literally picked up each stalk of cilantro one by one and slow motion the whole time. 🥲 I ordered the same bahn mi every time, but this time it was the worst ever, spiciest one ever and some ingredients were definitely missing🤦🏻♂️
it is a very chill restaurant, also the viet sub are tasty
They take a long time to make your sandwich but trust the wait is worth it. There's no reason at all to buy McDonald's when some place like this is making delicious sandwiches for a lower price. They are healthier as well
Good place for quick friends meet up
Food is good
However the beverages are 3/4 full ice cubes. Make sure to ask less ice or without ice
My Fave fish cake banhmi so far in the lower mainland , I love the egg one also & would pick this over Ba Le . The most delicious Pandan iced coffee and latte ( I’ve had both and love them equally) and coconut coffee
The ube Viet coffee was delicious but definitely on the sweeter side. The sugar and ice are fixed, and with the cup being about 80% ice, I only got a few really good sips before it was gone. Tasty, but not worth $8.
The Banh Mi & Drink combo is not worth it at all. The drink was small, pre-made, and filled with mostly ice for an additional $5. The banh mi is very average and the service is subpar. I had to correct the price charged by the cashier since it was different from their menu price and then was told they only accept cash or debit when it only says 'no amex' on their machine.
For a second, I thought I ordered from Subway lol.
Got the Cold Cut and Deluxe. Ran out of the meatballs at 4:50PM , which i agreed was fine but then to cheap out on all other ingredients. What a shame. Seriously the thinnest sandwich I’ve ever had.
Just shred the carrots thinner, that would at least allow you to spread it more so people can get more in their bite.
Deeply regretted coming here instead of Ba Le . Was trying to save myself the 10 minute drive but never again.
For those that need recommendations
Ba Le , Banh Mi Saigon and even Obanhmi for later hours is the place to go.
Small casual spot for Vietnamese sandwiches and coffee. Friendly staff and affordable prices. Banh Mi’s are not bad and lots of options available to choose from.
Delicious fresh banh mi and extra friendly service! I might come back again soon and do a bit of laptop work there as they also have speedy WiFi and nice big windows!

This fairly newly opened Banh Mi spot is a nice place to visit for dine in and takeout. The staff working are friendly (owner seems to work often) which adds to the genuine experience.
I’ve had most of the Banh Mi & Coffees and most are all quite yummy 😊
Very friendly service. Enjoyed my bubble waffle and mango fruit tea which was very refreshing. Bubble waffle was excellent crispy on outside and chewy on inside like delicious baguette as very hard to do. Must come again and try rest of menu like banh mi sandwich and spring rolls. Came again and tried ube latte and bubble waffle again. Sweet drink and brought waffle home to try. Not as crispy as freshly made so must eat at cafe. Came again today and had chicken banh mi and viet coffee. Bun was crunchy and chewy like good baguette. Viet coffee had nice flavour. Came should and had spring rolls. Nice and crispy with sauce not too heavy. Came again and had beef banh mi even better than chicken. Nice crispy roll with tender meat and crunchy veggies

Please get their bubble waffles!! They are worth it!!
Edit:
Get their Rice Bowls immediately. Their chicken rice bowl is soooooo worth it.

A warm special Vietnamese coffee shop. They recommend pandan latte and coconut coffee. Both are very nice and special. Be careful for those who don’t like sweet. Next time will try sandwiches.
