Got some cake and egg tarts. Very tasty. Everyone liked the cake for the party.
Had a bad experience with St,Germain cake. We bought a fresh mango cake today, but after we cut the cake , most of the mango cubes in the cake are black , you can tell the mango are not fresh, perhaps the cake are not fresh made. There are some mango pieces are bitter .
Cake is great. Service was terrible.
Delicious baked goods, great selection, competitive prices, and nice & friendly staff.
I had very bad experience at Saint Germain Mertrotown. Yesterday, I bought a slice of Black Forest Cake from the bakery, in the middle of my eating process, there’s something hard in the mouth caught my attention, it’s a cherry seed! You won’t expect that there’s a hard seed in the soft cake, it could be very dangerous you know! It’s not a single case. Last month, I bought a piece of Carrot Cake from the same bakery, it had sands in the cake! It’s safety problem, please make sure you follow the proper instructions.
This bakery has the worst staff ever. The staff was rude, ignorant and condescending . Give me off handed sarcastic “thank you “ when I left displeased .
She favoured serving the Chinese customer buying a big cake over my small 3.00 pastry . I was in line first too
The staff at maxim bakery is much better
The food is good but staff lol is another story
My go to for bakery goods. It's consistently good, affordable and good vibe.

I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences at this bakery, and it’s not an isolated incident—it’s happened three times in a row now. The cashiers are consistently rude, replying in a curt and dismissive manner that makes it clear they’re more interested in getting customers out of the door than providing a pleasant experience.
It’s such a shame because the bakery products are good, but the poor customer service completely ruins the experience. Being treated rudely when you're simply trying to enjoy a treat is unacceptable.
I hope the management addresses this issue and trains their staff to provide better service. Until then, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

Saint Germaine Bakery is hands down one of my favorite places! Everything I've tried here is absolutely delicious, but I especially love their coconut buns and tarts. The coconut buns are always soft, fluffy, and packed with just the right amount of coconut filling — truly irresistible. The tarts are also a standout, with their perfect balance of sweet and the buttery crust makes them melt in your mouth.
What makes this bakery even better is the amazing staff. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and offer great recommendations.
I can't recommend Saint Germaine Bakery enough — it's a hidden gem that always exceeds expectations!

Today, I went to order a 6-inch Tiramisu cake for a colleague's birthday tomorrow. After waiting in line, I told the cashier I wanted to order the cake.
During the process, the cashier had no conversation or any friendly interaction, and her attitude was very stiff. After that, she directly told me the price after tax and charged my card.
Then I moved to the fridge area to wait. While waiting, a staff member at the counter asked if I wanted anything written on the cake, and I told them the name for the celebration. I reminded them that I would pick it up tomorrow. However, the staff member scolded me, saying I should have mentioned it earlier.
I replied that they hadn't asked me. The cashier then raised her voice and insisted that I hadn’t mentioned it earlier. I found this very strange. Shouldn’t it be the cashier’s responsibility to ask whether the cake is for same-day pickup or for a later date, and confirm this with the customer before processing the payment?
Overall, the service attitude was appalling. Every time I go to buy bread or cakes there, it feels like the customer owes the shop money.
Regardless of whether the products are good or not, or how much they cost, my shopping experience was extremely unpleasant. I would rate this experience zero stars.

I'm very disappointed about the BBQ pork buns, they are flavorless and it is evident that shrinkflation happened there.
I was its customer for more than 10 years, what a shame I won't buy anymore.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. The staff’s attitude was extremely poor, and the service was unacceptable. I bought some bread, and the employee refused to put it in a bag for me, which I think is basic customer service. The way they spoke to me was rude and made me feel unwelcome. I will not be coming back. There are plenty of good bakeries out there, and I don’t need to deal with such terrible service.

I just bought a curry beef pastry from this location and as I was eating it I felt something weird and when I took it out it was a huge piece of plastic in it. That’s some hygiene and safety hazard issue.
