Our local place for homestyle Taiwanese cooking. Love their stir fried sauced chicken on rice. Their hotpot and vegetarian noodle dishes are great too. We also like the different bubble teas. They cook from scratch so takes a little wait.

Somehow this is a usual place for me and my wife to go to when we want a nice family style dinner when we don’t want to cook. The family style restaurant in South Burnaby is like part of our family where the owner and her people make us good healthy Taiwanese food. You won’t be disappointed as they have a menu with many items to choose and most are comfort food for all people. If you are a vegetarian this is a very nice place since that’s what they are good at, too. Guarantee the their veggie items bring you will be as great as that from the meat.
Vegetarian options: Two full pages of rice/noodle items for vegetarians. I also like the small side dishes made with their heart. Simple but delicious.

I’m a vegetarian and they have amazing vegetarian options! From appetizers, entrees to bento boxes and more. The food comes in fairly good sized portions and tastes great. I’ve even ordered large number of takeout bento boxes for events. Drinks and other desserts are also available. They never disappoint!
Vegetarian options: Offers a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options available.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and servers are very kid -friendly.

They set a booth in the Taiwanfest and I've waited in the not-so-long queue for ordering for 30 mins and waited the food for another 30 mins. Mediocre food.

disappointed. The food was oily, and I didn't know they used century eggs as a side dish?! I thought they were boiled eggs!!! Should have ordered from another Taiwanese restaurant.

We've drove by this place many times and decided to try it after work. For a Friday, it was quite slow. However we were pleasantly surprised the food was not too bad. It definitely met our expectation. If you can, support these neighborhood restaurants. You'll enjoy it.

I order lots of different dishes to give them a try, everything is under standard, with no flavor, and too oily. So sham you say it is Taiwanese food.

The service staff are very friendly. I feel very happy to eat Taiwanese food in a foreign country. Although the decoration is old, it has a warm feeling. For dinner, I ordered braised pork rice and salty crispy chicken. The portions were very generous. The chicken was crispy on the outside but very tender on the inside. The nine-story pagoda was a plus. The braised pork rice was just the right amount of fat and lean. Overall, it was not greasy. It was a very satisfying meal.
Big portion with reasonable price! The environment is comfortable and feels like home!
