Secret Garden Korean Buffet

Great value for casual dining with kids and family. Went for lunch to catch up with a family friend and was a good time considering a commercial buffet. Good to support Korean Canadians in this economy and the owner was kind and attentive.

Nice and clean restaurant with good service.

However, not much variety of selection. lots of carbs, didn’t see any beef entree for lunch, only had 1 fish dish and no shrimp.

Also, didn’t taste much seafood in the seafood pancake.

There are better value Korean AYCE in Vancouver area.

We came to this location at 8:35 and they refused for buffet won't reccomended them at all the customer service was not good pretty disappointed.

Me and my boyfriend’s fave place. Love the food and atmosphere. Just make sure you get there on the earlier side of lunch because sometimes the food runs a little low towards the end.

The food was surprisingly very good and I find that everything was quite fresh! And for the amount you pay, you really get your moneys worth with all the variety. Totally recommend and I’m for sure coming back!

A rare find in Vancouver — a Korean buffet with a good-quality food. I especially enjoyed the chicken, tonkatsu, and fish. There’s a good variety of dishes to choose from, and the service was fast.

One of the worst place to dine in! Staff and owner were rude! No customer service at all! Food took forever to get refill, dry and no does not taste good at all. I love korean food, and i go to almost all amazing korean restaurant. But this is a joke! Never coming back!

Excellent value for money. A meal costs more than $20 at a typical Korean restaurant, so it's amazing that you can choose from as many different foods as you want for this price. All the food is delicious, it's a personal preference, but the quality of the taste is good for a buffet food, especially the boiled pork, grilled flounder, japchae, cold jellyfish, spicy seasoned squid, radish soup, and nabak kimchi. The staff are all friendly like the owners, and the inside of the restaurant is large and clean, so I feel good every time I go. I often went to Wonderful Buffet in Bellingham before because there was no suitable buffet in Vancouver, but I don't have any desire to go to the US anymore due to the tariff war with the US, so I think I will go here more often in the future. Personally, I hope that this cost-effective Korean restaurant continues to do well.

We had our baby's first birthday party planned in the room which we booked.
We were told we might use the room with other guests since we did not have minumum number of guests for booking the room. Totally understand that point. However, they were pointing out this and that whenever we were trying to decorate our table (like don't use other chairs to put our personal stuff, leave the door open even when there was nobody in the room except us, be cautious to take out the tapes on the wall so the paint won't peel). We were understandable with all of the ladies concerns, since we were informed that we might share the room with someone else, but also felt a bit umcomfortable at the same time. After a while, there were other guests (around ppl of 8) that came in, and they seemed like they were hesitating to come in, because our room looked like a private event. After a while again, we were told to clean the birthday decoration table because there will be another guest. We cleaned the whole table for him, but the guest who entered the room didn't want to sit. He left because it was a table in the corner right next to us and he could clearly see we were having a birthday party for our little one. At that point, it seemed like the restuarant did not respect us and just wanted to earn money. They should have asked the guest first whether he wanted to use table before we had to clean the whole table for him. Also, they didn't inform us that we would have to share our table with an additional guest because we were told to use the table during our event.

It was so embarrasing for many reasons and we had to feel sorry for even having a family event there which we aleady booked&informed to the restaurant several weeks ago and all of our family members felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed during our stay. Popular food trays were also empty most of the time so we didn't have the chance to try all dishes when we were there.

I remember the previous time we went there the same lady kept asking that our daughter doesn't look like a three year old. Mentioning this multiple times led us to show her care card to prove her age. She didnt even eat a whole plate while she was there.

The restuarant doesn't seem to have servers that are respectful to us both time, and we are not planning to go back again.

If I could I will rate this place double zero......Cold and unhygienic food. We all experienced stomach cramps and food poisoning after eating here. Absolutely ridiculous place. Don't get unnecessary health problems after eating stale food from this place.
