Shanghai Dimsum House on the 2nd level foodcourt inside Crystal Mall is a nice option for pork soup dumplings (aka xlb) and other Shangahinese food. Remember: CASH ONLY. The food does take a few minutes to be prepared so don't expect anything instantly. They will give you a beeper to alert you when your steamed pork dumplings are nice and ready. I got Combo A for $12.75. It came with 5 steamed dumplings and a soup with vermicelli and puffed tofu.
Its hard to give any food stall inside Crystal Mall 5 stars because the cleanliness is questionable everywhere. Anyway, portions at Shanghai Dimsum House were huge! I would recommend and would return.

Got the mini Shanghai Steam Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao) and the Dan Dan Noodles. By far one of the best xiao long bao I ever eaten. Each order has 5 pieces and they were above average in size. Dan Dan noodles was very comforting and not spicy. A+ for both !

Got #13, pretty good soup dumplings, decent sized and decent value. Broth is good but the meat inside was a little dry/tough
Pretty good and soupy 小笼包. Wait was a bit long but it was super busy so it makes sense. Price point mot bad and its pretty big.

The Xiao Long Baos were really good. The first thing I noticed was how sweet the broth was, so if you like that, you’ll enjoy these. The Pan Fried Pork Buns (Shengjian Bao) were good too, but I like the Xiao Long Bao more. If you get the chance, you might also see them folding the baos.

This place was recommended and boy oh boy was it a huge disappointment. Especially with how much money we spent here over 60.00. First it took about 30 minutes to get our food though there was numerous people working. Then when my girlfriend went to get the food and return the beeper the girl at the counter was very rude about the beeper. She wasn't this way with others and we presume it's cause my girlfriend isn't Asian as they were also ignoring other customers of non asian descent. Then open up and taste the Dan Dan noodles 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 No spice, no pork, no veggies straight peanut butter!! Dan Dan doesn't contain peanut butter peanuts yes. So, thick we threw it out!! We will never ever be back and will not recommend this place to anyone. Probably the worst food experience I've ever had 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Vacationing with family. Ordered food for 6 adults including 2 seniors and 2 children. Lots of food for us for a weekday. In the order were 2 soups and 2 noodles. Asked for enough plasticware for each of us. We got enough plasticware for 4. I asked for more, they gave us 2 more settings. Finally 1 of the sr’s in the group asked for 2 more settings and the proprietor proceeded to debate and tell us we had to pay for the plasticware. I hate seeing won and children argue so paid the $0.50 but they might a thing or two about service and quality considering we ordered enough food to cover 2 booths for 6 people. It amounts to 0.01% of the bill. Pathetic is the word

Tried Combo A at Shanghai Dimsum House, which includes the Shanghai Style Mini Pork Buns (Xiao Long Bao) and Tofu Puff with Vermicelli Soup, plus an order of Shanghai Style Pan Fried Pork Buns on the side.
Both types of pork buns were juicy and delicious—classic soup dumplings that can burst if you’re not careful! Best way to eat them: take a small bite, sip the soup inside, then enjoy the rest. A splash of red vinegar adds a nice touch of brightness if you like a bit more tang.
The tofu puff vermicelli soup was light and comforting, a good balance to the richness of the buns. Overall, great value and satisfying flavours. Will definitely be back.

The food was ok if you didn't compare it to the authentic Shanghainese food.
