The pan-fried buns were juicy inside and the crispy bottom was so crunchy it could almost scratch you — really impressive! However, the taste gave me a bit of a frozen-food vibe, which was slightly disappointing.

We usually head over to the more famous XLB stall when we're in Crystal Mall but we were there on a Wednesday so we decided to try out Shanghai Fortune Cuisine instead.

Their juicy pork buns ($9.25) -ie. XLB were not too bad but I did find that a few of them broke. The ones that didn't break were kinda juicy. They are smaller than the ones at Shanghai Dim Sum House.

Also ordered the Beef Rolls ($8.99) which were flaky and crispy with thickish meat in the centre.

Excellent food and service. Very much prefer this eatery to the other place at the end.

Most authentic Shanghaiese cuisine I have ever tried. Services is great. The food was wonderful. Very unique flavour top quality used in the dim sum. Everything was homemade and very fresh. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend.

2024.06 Every time I go to the food court, I have a Shanghai pan-fried bun first. The bottom of the pan-fried bun is crispy and so delicious?

Pan-fried buns with golden skin
The texture is crispy and not soft.
The pork stuffing is also handled very well
No fishy smell
Rich and juicy soup
Be careful to burn your mouth when eating

The pan-fried buns are very delicious. It’s great to take it home and reheat it if you can’t finish it all in one sitting. Fried dumplings are more delicious

Spent a few hours in the Crystal Mall on a Wednesday, and was so disappointed to see that Shanghai Dim Sum was closed for the day, my favorite XLB shop.Oh well, we ate some other delicious things, the standout was the shengjian bao, pan fried pork buns from Shanghai Fortune Cuisine. It was lined up and everyone in the rooms seemed to be eating them.Wow, they were good. Crispy on the bottom, tender on top, full of soup and pork. Delicious. Staff is friendly too!I think I found a new favorite.

Told me 15minute wait for food. Waited over 45min for pork buns when it wasn’t even busy. Woman at front does not communicate or apologize.
