The fries taste incredibly below average like frozen fries in grocery stores, and no amount of gravy can save the driest pork I've had. Staff was nice though.

Smoke's Poutinerie at BCIT does fries worse than even McDonald's. I was not expecting miracles, but the fries that I got were still hard, and the heat of the gravy wasn't anywhere close enough to melt the cheese curd.I threw the entire order into the rubbish bin out of sheer disappointment.

The poutine was underwhelming. It was made and prepared by someone who didn't care enough. The gravy was underwhelming in flavor with a viscosity of something less than cream of mushroom soup. It's not surprising what's happened.

Came in hot because the girlfriends were hangry after the bars closed . Terry overheard us talking about me being celiac and went above and beyond to make me an order. Unreal service. Terry is a gem. 10/10 recommend.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Poutine came way late and cold. Smokes doesn't answer their phone. No other way to contact them. Finally posted on their FB page. Their response: not our problem. Call Uber. You can't call Uber. One star.

Just tried this place today. It's pretty good, I like the seating arrangement and the sizes are pretty filling too. I got the buffalo chicken poutine which I would give 6/10. It could be more spicier and a bit extra cheese curds would've made it tastier. Overall it definitely was better than average but it's not something I would go crazy about lol That being said, the place is good to try once in a while, not something I would wanna try regularly. Overall 6/10.

Average poutine with service catered towards students.Ordering and receiving instructions weren't posted when I went, and it led to some confusion how to pay for our order and, from the look of the cashiers eyes, thoughts that I was stealing the poutine.
It was OK. I ate here for lunch and the dining room was probably about 40F. I can see how its much better at 2 AM so a solid 3.

Very unreliable service tonight, waited almost 30 min to get served and then they couldn't serve the meal I paid for, and they didn't even give me the additional topping I paid for either. The server was stressed but also rude. Not coming back.

Came here wanting to try Poutine on visit to Canada. I was apprehensive about coming here because it was a chain and I wanted to try the best that Canada had to offer. However, Toronto has lost of amazing food so it was hard to eventually get to Poutine. Actually came to this place after eating dinner at another place. Said to the owner at the previous place that my fiancé and I had to have Poutine before leaving Canada and this was our final night. He told us that Smokes won't disappoint and boy was he right. I wasn't expecting much when I took my first bite but man it was delicious. I had the basic poutine but the flavor was everything else but basic. Was blown away by how good it was. I would definitely come here again.
