Cute decor on the inside, wasn’t too busy when I went in on Sunday afternoon (2pm).
Ordered the catch on fire and creamy shrimp XL sandwiches, did have to wait a bit (~15min) but was worth it.
Bun was soft and buttery, egg was fluffy and not over cooked. Shrimp sandwich only had three pieces of shrimp but still quite filling.
Catch on fire sandwich was good and spicy, but possibly recommend getting more sauce? And there’s only a bit of noodle just on top to cover the top.
Otherwise not too bad!

Lovely place and staff! They've got a wide variety of drinks and food like egg sandwiches and croffles, and lots of seating area. The cafe is super cute with all the deco they put inside ☺️ Washroom is available for customers! Something Sweet is also the venue for a lot of k-pop events like cupsleeve events from various fandoms, so it's a great place to hang out on weekends if you're a stay/carat/zerose etc!! Very short walk from Royal Oak station so it's super convenient as well ^^
The food here was not bad. Everyone liked their food. HOWEVER, the staff (and owner) here needs more training. We dined here, left. 5 minutes later, my friend’s son needed to pee so he went back to the cafe. He explained to the staff that he was just here 5 minutes ago. But then the staff still asked him to pay before he could use the washroom. (Plus, they were not busy at all. Only 2 tables occupied) That’s not acceptable! First, we were there and spent quite a bit. Second, he is just a kid! I would have recommended this place but NOT ANYMORE. Skip it.
Kid-friendliness: They have no kid-friendliness.

Stopped in here randomly with friends after eating dinner nearby. Was immediately impressed with the decor. Very whimsical and fun, the kids loved it. The fresh coconut jelly with mango (comes in a fresh coconut) was unique and very refreshing. Our friends got the mango shaved ice (bingsu) and it was also really good. The menu online doesn’t capture everything they offer.. in fact the menu online seems limited. There is a self-serve water station if you want some after all the sweets are consumed.
Kid-friendliness: Large tables and spacious. Kids will do fine here.

The decor inside the cafe is very unique and atmospheric. I ordered the Catch on fire sandwich and the Mango Pomelo drink—both were delicious and the ingredients were very fresh.

The atmosphere is great and the place is pretty spacious compared to others. They have a great selection of desserts and savory food like egg sandwiches and crepes. However, I feel they could improve their selection of drinks, as everything is very sweet and icy. The coffee was also average. Overall, nice spot for a quick and yummy bite!

Such a hidden gem in royal oak, this cafe has different variety of drinks and sandwhiches a lot of their items I find very unique!
We were waiting for our car wash to finish so we decided to come here for a quick refreshment we ordered a jumbo mango slush with pearls. Was perfect not too sweet and has the right amount of mango flavour she said she used 2 mangos and I can definitely tell!
I recommend for all your sweets and bubble tea needs!

Cute cafe! Love the graphics on the wall and the cute designs. It’s not a bad study spot too. The drinks and food have pretty nice creativity and tastes decently good. Personally I found some of the specialized drinks taste a bit odd. Some drinks you don’t see often at regular cafes but may taste a bit different, totally depends on your preference though. Menu has lots of variety and customer service was acceptable. Washroom could use some cleaning
Parking: Paid street parking. Can be busy at times, so depends on your luck if you can find a spot
