Matcha latte was horrible. Not worth the time or money. Tastes like milk lacking in flavour and body. Zero sweetener in there for $5.69 for a small. I didn’t see if they whisked the matcha at all because there is no crème body when it was poured.

There was a French customer that rude and annoying the hell out of me. Constantly asking to “just answer if matcha is good or not” before I even got my drink or even made a payment. Never even went here before - first time purchase so I can’t even give him his answer. When I gave him my opinion he completely ignored me twice. The workers were just silent and listening the whole time when I don’t even work there…

I am writing this review because a lot of the time when things go wrong during a transaction we post negative reviews. In this case things went wonky during the first transaction, they tried to fix it and it just got more wonky. After talking to Syndey she was very helpful and solved my problem. But what she did after that is what has me in Awwww. She took the issue up with the store owner and they came back to her with and awesome fix. When all was said and done Sydney and the Owners went ABOVE AND BEYOND and i would like to take this moment to recognize that.
Thanks again for all you did and we are truly very GRATEFUL.

This review is solely for their oat milk matcha latte. I was disappointed with the matcha here. For ~$7 it tasted pretty much like water. I felt it was promising because of the medium-deep green colour but I was catfished (it was also in one of those squeeze bottles, which I haven’t yet seen before until now). I’ve had delicious and authentic matcha for similar and/or less than what I paid for here so I was shocked at the quality. I am willing to come back and try their other drinks though.

I love that they started making slushie coffee here and made it popular (yes there is Tim's iced Capp, but this is the first unique coffee shop I've seen around here to do it too). It's a great treat in the area.

Would not recommend the matcha, tastes like milk only:( some of the worst matcha I’ve had tbh

I had the hometown hero latte and it was as advertised. Would recommend.

A quaint little cafe tucked into the Brentwood mall food court, Soon Coffee caught my eye with its charming combination of blue, light pink, and white decor, adorned with adorable illustrations: a visual treat that initially drew me in.

The space, though small, was well-utilized, creating an inviting atmosphere. I opted for an iced americano and a chocolate chip cookie, simple items that were hard to mess up. The staff were warm but seemed slightly uncoordinated. For instance, I ordered a small iced americano but received a larger size instead. This wasn't a problem for me, but it could be concerning if another customer experienced the reverse situation. Although I was the only one waiting, the barista had to call for me from across the counter and ask me what I ordered, which was strange. It seemed like they were new, so I'm inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. As for the food, the chocolate chip cookie was mediocre. The center was unbaked and it tasted as if it were missing an ingredient. However, the iced americano, which was unexpectedly sweet, balanced the bold, dark flavours of the coffee beautifully.

Overall, Soon Coffee is a really cute spot that I'd like to visit more often should I find myself at Brentwood.

Convenient coffee spot inside Brentwood Mall food court. Friendly staff and great everyday $2 coffee. If you want a fancier coffee there’s also Small Victory nearby, but I enjoy the fact that Soon coffee is in the food court where there’s ample seating and a much more efficient ordering experience vs Small

Coffee fan and espresso fan here. Tried there Soon Traditional Cappuccino as it's one of their signature drinks.

Taste: 8.5/9 Coffee beans are not as strong but caffeine kick was there.
Texture: 9/10 Creamy and not watered down like other coffee shops out there.
Flavor: Good balance of milk, coffee and texture.

All in all it's a good texture and coffee made with passion and care.

Great, super affordable stop for caffeine! I got their iced americano and it was great. The price to quality of coffee ratio is fantastic, the staff really care about what they do, and the signage is really cute!

Nice to think that there's vegan drinks but still hurt my stomach. The roasted green tea slushy was too sweet but coffee slushy was not too sweet so it tasted fine. thankful for the promo from the farmers market today to try it though

I've visited Soon a few times since the opening. The vibe and the design is very cool and the coffee is pretty decent as well. It is located inside the food court so it might get busy sometimes but still one of the best options to grab a coffee in Brentwood.
