My friend and I went for their bingsoo! The bingsoo was good but it was really dead. We were going to get drinks, but they didn’t have ingredients to make most of the drinks from the menu, so we passed that. Overall, if it’s busy, I am sure they would have a nice vibe.

The store ran out/sold out of so many things/ingredients..it was a bit ridiculous. No strawberry, no mango, no fruits left except blueberry, no mochi…. For a dessert place, wonder what’s going on. I ordered a matcha ice cream on French toast, but it wasn’t matcha flavoured, it was vanilla with matcha powder instead, very misleading on the menu. And instead of French toast, it was a dry basic piece of bread instead. Listen to me, spend elsewhere. Not worth $18 for a dessert.

Was craving some bingsu with fresh fruit but the “Berry berry” one comes with frozen blueberries… not sure how i feel about that. When you combine enough sugar with ice it is still always delicious. Maybe they should charge less if they are serving frozen fruit ?.

Ordered Choco Oreo, and Mango Cheesecake compared to previous bingsoo I have had this is nothing special, reminds me of snow, ice cream also doesn’t taste like anything. Both are just covered at the top and nothing much inside. Compared to Sulbing these don’t have anything inside, not worth $15+ each.

I used to come here all the time for their matcha bingsoo, but about a year ago they stated they were “out of mochi” for their matcha and injeolmi bingsoo. I went back a few times after hoping it was just temporary but they were still out. They’re still “out” even now and this is like 1 or 2 years later, so it seems like they’re just not restocking it on purpose for some reason? Feels like a disappointment and that they’re cheaping out on toppings, I have since taken my business elsewhere as there’s other shaved ice places in the area.

Ordered a Choco Brownie Bingsu and asked to make sure there were no nuts in it. When we received the Bingsu, I noticed almonds on top and inside the brownies. I told the employee that there were nuts in the bingsu and he denied there being nuts even though I could see them. The employee was unapologetic and refused to do anything about it. it was a waste of my money since I couldn’t even eat it.

They have recently changed the recipe of the green tea lava bread and it was very disappointing. Last time, there used to be Oreos , flakes, whip cream with green tea powder and 2 scoops ice creams, however, right now is just one scoop of ice cream with a lot of red bean which ruined the taste that I used to crave all the time. If you searched Sulmida Green Tea Lava bread, don't expect it to be the one shown in the picture because that was a delight in the past.

Strawberry bingsu was actually not that great. The snow wasn't very milky and had chunckier flakes than most. They also only put strawberries on top with no layers of strawberries beneath. Nearing the end, we only had icy snow and strawberry syrup without any fruit left.Mango cheese lava toast definitely saved the day. Had a warm, dense, and soft toast block covered with cubes of mango. The cheese paired so well with the warm toast too. The mango syrup glued everything together but was more jam-like than jelly-like which I really appreciated. Both had sweet cream ice cream on top which was nice as it added another creamy base while not clashing with the fruit. At $18.95 CAD for a toast, it is definitely a splurge but might be worth it.

I used to love this place. They had good portion sizes and everything had just the right amount of flavour. To my disappointment, I was served red bean that had gone sour at my most recent visit. My friends tasted the sourness as well. The staff were incredibly rude when we brought it to their attention, and made us feel like we were making it up. Needless to say, we left without finishing our dessert and will not be coming back.

Half of the toppings consist of unripe mangoes that are crunchy and inedible. I can't believe you didn't notice while cutting them. How can such poor quality be served to customers?
