Outstanding food! We popped in here with a bit of hesitation because of the promotion signage out front. It was Green bean and lamb and draft beer 2 for 1. Each day there is a different 241 dish. The atmosphere is quite nice, with a two level open concept room with sky lights and lots of windows. Chairs and tables are comfy and there was a nice light jazz playing. We ordered the 2 for one dish of the night and it actually came with 2 for 1 draft beer! I was surprised when we got a lovely little bowl of the most aromatic mushroom soup as a starter. Our beers arrived next, followed up by the main, which was an exquisite combination of flavours and textures. The napkins were high quality disposable and there were candles on each table. Service was really great and both servers had fantastic sense of humours! Highly recommend this place and will be back to try other dishes.

We had a great experience with my family in this restaurant. Our server, Aysan, was very helpful and nice. For future we would recommend increasing light or adding a dimmer switch to increase/decrease the brightness and we would recommend to change the background color of menue from black to something bright (very hard to read the black menue)

We just ate at Suren for the first time and it was a good price ($80 + tip for three of us) and excellent quality. The server was attentive but not intrusive and she worked with a Jetsons style robot that helps deliver food and clean dishes, which is adorable. The music was relaxing and loud enough to add to the atmosphere without preventing our conversation.
We ate the chicken torch (marinated kebab w pomegranate) and the fesenjan (walnut stew), both of which were on the sour side of sweet, and tachin joojah (crispy rice stuffed with chicken stew). My favorite was the torch. They brought us a complimentary snack at the start of the meal and an extra dessert (cream puffs and napoleons) with tea at the end to help us celebrate a special day.
I recommend this place if you love persian food or would like to try it. Suren was populated by residents of Kits and it seemed like they were mostly regulars.
I don't drink beer but they also have deals were you get a free pint with your meal and they have a cocktail list that I plan to try on my next visit.

This was the worst Persian restaurant I have ever been to. The food was stale and tasteless. They had a Persian New Year party. Charged people $75.00 for food and DJ. When we arrived only 3 tables were taken. I was wondering why the restaurant was empty. By the end of the night there were only 4 table taken. That tells you how terrible they are. DJ was another disaster. This was an insult to our culture. The atmosphere was cold and uninviting . I would not recommend this place. They are many amazing Persian restaurant in this city, this is not one of them.

The service was outstanding—our server was attentive, polite, and highly professional. To start, we were welcomed with a complimentary soup, which was a thoughtful touch. For our main course, we ordered lentil rice with lamb, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced, truly capturing the essence of Persian cuisine.
The side dishes were equally impressive. The Shirazi salad was fresh and flavorful, and the cucumber yogurt was creamy and well-seasoned, complementing the meal beautifully. Every dish reflected the authenticity and care that went into its preparation.
Overall, Suren Restaurant exceeded our expectations with its exceptional food, welcoming ambiance, and top-notch service. A big shout-out to the entire team for making our first visit so enjoyable—we will definitely be returning!

I was pleasantly surprised to see a completely new team, and the service was outstanding. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and ready to assist customers.
