The foods always good and the staff is attentive. The decor is modern with a touch of traditional. Also the menu is decently priced. Had brunch there with the family multiple weekends and the bill was less than $100 for 4 people each time even after adding a 15% tip. Their seafood salad and dyska roll (part Alaska and part dynamite roll) are items I order every time.

Cheap sushi means cheap quality . Looks like they are overloaded with skip the dishes which brings down the quality of their food . My sushi was soggy city and very poor quality I had to listen to them for 10 minutes debating back and forth not charging me for the crap

Updated from 2020: Busy place but not long of a wait for a table. The food is consistently good (over years), with rare occasions of rice and rolls falling apart. They have good sized portions, especially for the price. The Miso soup is mild and a hint creamy with noticeable pieces of seaweed and tofu; it's among my favourites of all the sushi places I've been. Tea is hot but bland. Saba was deliciously lightly pickled and a hint sweet.
Stuffed full for under $45 (including tip) for 2 people.
Pictured: salmon and tuna combo, dynamite combo, miso soup, saba nigiri, and inari. Also House roll and Dyn-alaska roll.

I’ve moved to Toronto now but every time I’m back this is a MUST GO PLACE!! The quality to price ratio is unmatched. The quality is so good and the prices are amazing!
I got the salmon and tuna combo with an extra spicy tuna roll but the top must haves are always the nigiri sushi, Alaska roll, and spider roll. The nigiri’s are HUGE!! Do you see that slab of fish!? It’s almost the size of my hand. Bless this place for not giving into shrinkflation. They have retained me as a loyal customer because of this and their amazing value.
The only thing that’s mildly annoying is that you can’t reserve so it’s first come first serve and your whole party needs to be there before you get seated. But it’s worth the wait.

The sushi is rolled very loose so it immediately falls apart. The rolls are sloppy and not cut evenly as well.

Hands down, the best sushi in Vancouver! The service was fast and excellent, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything was perfect from start to finish. 10/10 experience, 100% recommended. On top of that, it’s very affordable for the quality you get. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This Japanese restaurant brand, which currently operates three branches, focuses mainly on sushi, while also offering a reasonably wide selection of rice bowls and udon dishes. The menu is broad enough to appeal to different tastes, especially for diners looking for an all-in-one Japanese-style meal.
The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, though the interior feels a bit dated, suggesting it has been around for quite some time. Seating is comfortable, and the overall environment is casual rather than refined.
We ordered a salmon and tuna sushi and sashimi platter, tonkatsu on rice, and tuna tataki. The food quality was average at best. While the fish was acceptable in terms of freshness, it lacked the finesse and flavor one would expect from a restaurant that positions sushi as its main offering.
The tonkatsu was particularly disappointing. The sauce tasted off, and the dish was served with sushi rice instead of plain steamed rice, which felt like a strange and incorrect pairing. This combination significantly affected the overall experience and detracted from the authenticity of the dish.
Overall, the meal felt more like a Japanese-inspired restaurant rather than a truly authentic Japanese dining experience. It may suit diners with modest expectations or those looking for a convenient, familiar option, but for anyone seeking properly executed Japanese cuisine, especially traditional flavors and pairings, this restaurant is unlikely to satisfy.

The reason I’m writing this review it’s because every time I try to pick my sushi to eat everything falls apart I don’t know if the person doesn’t roll tight enough or what.
Also they cut to thin and it frustrates me because this keeps happening.
Please do better!!!!

Generally really good value and quality from a few visits. Last time however was the first time I was told smelly salmon was normal.
