I came here for Japanese food and it's really good , I don't really have any complaints at all. -The mango Tango roll was like so amazing they had more than enough toppings and the flavor was like nothing I have had before -the takoyaki was pretty good , I loved how the outside had a crispy shell , encasing the gooey inside. It was a tad pricy for how much we got though. -the cherry blossoms roll was pretty good I loved how tangy and sweet it was. -The veggie udon was solid , noodles had good texture , soup could use more flavor. - the wasabi mayo prawn was alright , the sauce only tasted sweet and there wasent enough flavor so I had trouble finishing it.
Service was good , I will probably come back especially for that mango Tango roll.

I never do reviews but I have been coming here since I moved to Burnaby and it is not only favourite sushi place, but one of my favourite restaurants ever! They excel in consistency and quality of food and service. Will come here for years to come.

Really really loved the Nabeyaki udon and sexy salmon roll!! So filling and amazingly delicious 😋 The oshis are always the best. The servers are so attentive and have the best attitude!!!!! Definitely recommend this restaurant if you dont want to regret eating out.

Sushi was so fresh! It was our first time to try kimchi katsu nabe, the soup was so rich and flavorful. We really enjoyed it :)

The service was outstanding, and the sushi was fantastic. I especially loved the Sexy Salmon, and every time I asked for utensils, they never forgot to include them. I truly appreciate their consistently friendly and attentive service, and I highly recommend this restaurant👍🏻🩷

This is the second time I didn't get a chopstick. And I always order food from sushi modo. When I called them to complain and ask why I didn't get it. They told me that some customers don't want chopsticks. That shouldn't be any reason. As a seller, you are obliged to put chopsticks with the food, because some people eat with chopsticks, those who don't can certainly throw them in the trash. I felt very bad for them when they explained it to me. Incredibly. Therefore rating 1 for service. Because they didn't deserve a single star for service. everything else is 5

i enjoyed my time in sushi modo. the food was amazing even the basic salmon sushi tasted different and very rich. the service of servers were also amazing too very kind and respectful. i ordered Aburi sushi combo as the picture, the plating was gorgeous and flavorful. definitely recommend!! i would go again!!
