This restaurant is amazing! The korean beef ribs are out of this world, and the short ribs. The glass noodle dish (Japchae) comes out sizzling hot, great flavour, lots of veggies. Sushi is fresh and tasty too. Really generous portions, we love this spot! The staff are friendly and very attentive! Awesome spot!!

Great local spot! My new go-to! The specials are excellent. Such great value and always so full at the end. Their kimbab is so good too. I didn’t finish mine and ate mine the next day and it was still so good! I was surprised how kimbab the next day normally isn’t but theirs is! I recommend if you’re in the area.
Picked up a takeaway this evening from Sushi Uomo. First time customer, was impressed with the young lady taking my orders and the food was fresh and great. Worthwhile to support them if you happen to be in the East Hastings area in Burnaby.

This was the first time I've tried sushi from Sushi UOmo, and the rolls were well made and tasted excellent. To add, the sushi was presented very well in the takeout container. The sliced salmon on top of the Mega Dragon Red Roll was fresh and delicious. This is a high-quality sushi restaurant in North Burnaby.

Delicious food and friendly service. I had the chef’s creation assorted sushi combo and lucked out on some really tasty nigiri that I otherwise wouldn’t have known to order. My husband had the pork fork ribs combo off their special menu. The ribs were meaty and tender and the glaze was flavourful but not overpowering. Highly recommend!

The food is lovely for the price ! The servers are wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Can’t beat the lunch/dinner specials ? the combination plates are both savoury and sweet . These days , quality and affordability are hard to find . They could use some updating of furniture but otherwise, perfect little spot for sharing a nice meal ! If you don’t have lots of time for lunch , the service is always timely ✌️
