Very tasty and fresh sushi, excellent ingredients, individual approach to each client. Excellent large pieces of salmon. The owner cooks personally. I strongly recommend stopping by.

I don't understand how this place get such high rating or it is my unlucky day. the staff and chef seems very nice but the sushi is just bad. sashimi are not fresh at all, and the sushi are sloppy. when I go in there at around 7pm, there was zero customer in the restaurant, that should have been a sign that this restaurant is not as good as some of the high reviews claimed.

Ordered chopped scallop roll, extremely saulty..when I questioned it instead of offering me something else I noticed the chef object and argue with waitress. I tipped waitress and will not return.

This space has been around for a number of years and has a very friendly vibe to it. Food is reasonably priced and portions are good size for the price you pay. Have lunch bento box specials for affordable prices.

I ordered through a food delivery service so can only comment on the food.It was delicious. We had a chirashi don, california roll and a spicy tuna roll. The price was extremely reasonable even from a third party app.I'd order again and try something different.

This restaurant is a good option for sushi in North Burnaby. The prices on some rolls are a bit high, but for the most part, the regular rolls like dynamite or california are affordable. Had takeout, and the sushi was nicely presented in the container. The chicken teriyaki was good tasting, but I did find the vegetables to be a bit greasy. The alaskan roll was delicious as well, with good portions of salmon on top of each roll. Overall, Take Sushi is a solid choice for sushi.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Like another reviewer, it felt like they prioritize takeout over dine-in customers. I received my Miso Soup 30 minutes after ordering, and after nearly an hour of waiting for my food, I inquired about the delay with the server. She went to check but never returned. I left feeling hungry and incredibly disappointed. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

The day we were there, a birthday party of young girls was SO loud that it really affected the meal. The food was good, but given the slow services and the poor atmosphere, the total experience was lowered.
