What a feast! Disclaimer: you must love meat.
We were a party of 6, ordered the meat platter and had food to take home. And we are pretty big eaters! They will customize the platter per your requests and your party so no need to worry if you have any concerns with specific items or quantity.
Everything we ate was delicious and extremely flavorful. Be sure to order the fried bread to go with the meats. Highly recommend the Chevapi and the various Rakija options. All are delicious!
Staff are extremely warm and friendly. Atmosphere is perfect for the type of food. Cozy, tavern style restaurant, with lots of interesting and historic items decorating the walls.
10/10 experience!

Love this place! The food tastes great, the portions are huge. I mean huuuuge 😁 my family will probably be eating leftovers from the dinner for the next two days! And the service is also really friendly.

We visited Tenen Restaurant on February 15 with a group of nine friends — without a reservation. Despite the busy time of the day, the staff quickly arranged a private area for us and made us feel genuinely welcome.
The service was efficient and attentive from the very beginning. Each of us ordered individually, and the kitchen handled everything quickly and professionally. The food was beautifully presented, incredibly flavorful, and clearly made from fresh, natural ingredients. The portions were very generous — so generous that most of us couldn’t finish everything.
The atmosphere deserves special mention. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with memorabilia reflecting Serbian life and culture, creating a warm and authentic Eastern European ambiance. It feels like more than just a restaurant — it feels like a cultural experience.
Thank you to the entire team at Tenen Restaurant for a wonderful evening, outstanding food, and true hospitality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Eastern European cuisine in Vancouver.

Great restaurant. Place is not too big. reservation recommend. We drop by this place without reservation, but we were lucky to get a table for a hour and enjoyed our dinner. I really like the atmosphere inside. Delicious food. We enjoyed it.

We had a lovely birthday dinner here for my friend. They let us bring our own cake. very cozy small restaurant, lovely waitress. We had roast lamb and roast veal and a vegetable linguine. Everything was fabulous except for the vegetable linguine, she said the sauce just tasted oily. there was only a couple of pasta dishes for a vegetarian.

We just walked in to a busy house but after just a couple minutes they had a table for us. The food was fantastic so good the service was great considering how busy they were we will definitely be back to try more of the menu could not have had a better evening with the wife thanks you to all the staff 😀

Old world atmosphere of the Balkans. Excellent Eastern Europe cuisine. Vegetarian options available but the choices for more carnivorous appetites is excellent, especially the sausages. Wait staff are friendly, professional and go out of their way to explain any questions about the cuisine. Pricing is very reasonable and I would recommend reservations as it is very popular.
