I have been coming here for both dine in and pickup for many many years. Their bbq platter is pretty legendary for carnivores or those wanting a taste of serbian food, as most people already know. However, they also have a unique twist on pastas. Their carbonara is one of the richest most delightful cheat meal I have ever had. They also used to do a killer lasagna with bechemel sauce, but I don't see it on the menu anymore sadly. Please consider bringing it back! I was a huge fan of it and used to come late night for pickup after work all the time. No one else does it like that.

Ushtipci - texture is similar to the deep fried chinese doughnut, comes with cream cheese. oily and very crispy.

I recently visited Tenen Restaurant in Burnaby with two others, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes that left us very satisfied and happy. The atmosphere has a charming unique character—warm and comfortable, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were very pleasant, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal. I’ll definitely be returning in the future. My only wish is that the restaurant were closer to where I live—but it’s absolutely worth the trip! Highly recommended.
This is one of my favorite Balkan style restaurants that I've been. Their portions are large and prices decent. The highlight of their menu is obviously their meat platters but I had one excellent experience with the veal meal. I still often dream about that melt-in-the-mouth piece of heaven that sat in the plate in front of me on that table that day...

A great place if you like meat. You'll also walk out smelling like it :).
Our group shared an appetizer platter that had these buttermilk fritters that made me want more. (They're similar to the long Chinese donut but better)
I also had the slow roasted veal that was tender and flavorful. I upgraded to the roasted potatoes. There was a small charge to do so but it was well worth it!
Will be going back for the fritters and potatoes and things I couldn't get to cuz there was so much food. Full and satisfied!!
