Our waitress got very upset at us for not tipping on a $20 bill. Very unfortunate because we constantly had to flag her down just to get a glass of water…

went out for dinner with friends and had some fresh sushi. The service was great—the servers were kind, attentive, and checked in to make sure everything was good.

We ordered a few different sushi rolls, and every single one was amazing. I got the BC roll and wasn’t sure if I’d like it because of the salmon skin, but I wanted to try something new. Honestly, it tasted great, and I really enjoyed it!

Stopped in for one of their lunch specials and had the salmon meal. Price is decent and food was ok. My fellow lunch mates remarked that it seemed like less pieces of rolls and smaller pieces of salmon than what they had enjoyed in previous visits. With rising costs of everything, it’s understandable. The prawn tempura was mostly tempura and not much prawn. The meal came with a small miso soup and a very small sunimono salad. The price we paid equals the amount and quality of food so we can’t complain.

Slowest service and doesn't actually care that you waited 50 mins for your food in a quarter full restaurant. Tempura doesn't take that long.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I came for a family dinner with a party of 14. Our total bill was $550, and we added a 20% tip, paying $610 in cash. However, our waiter returned our payment and demanded a tip of more than 30%. When we asked for an explanation, they responded with insults, saying we “don’t know manners” and should “go back to where we belong.”

I clarified that no mandatory gratuity was mentioned during our reservation or before payment, yet they insisted that each employee should receive an additional 10% tip. I have never encountered such unprofessionalism, and considering the restaurant is neither high-end nor serves authentic Japanese cuisine, I am not surprised by its many negative reviews.

Weirdly more expensive in person than ordering online but great food.

If anyone asks me where to have sushi in Vancouver, I would tell them to come here. Great value for the $$, great menu and the portions will ensure you don't go home 'hungry'.

They are have poor service especially when asking for a table beside window - always section closed. Why??? They make you sit at the back for no reason.

The manager went above and beyond for us with an Uber issue that was not their fault.
