The environment is good and silent. Coffee and cakes are also very good. Highly recommended.

Tera’s Bean in Burnaby is a fantastic spot for dessert lovers! We sampled a few of their cheesecakes and ganache treats, and everything was top-tier. The Matcha Basque Cheesecake was rich and creamy with a deep matcha flavor, while the Classic Basque Cheesecake had a perfectly caramelized top and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

We also tried the Matcha Ganache and Chocolate Ganache — both were warm, rich, and incredibly indulgent. The texture and flavor balance were spot on!

The café has a cozy, modern vibe that makes it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. If you’re into high-quality desserts with thoughtful flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

Tera’s Bean is an absolute hidden gem in the heart of Brentwood! It’s the perfect cozy spot to study, read, or catch up with a friend. I tried their lattes, the matcha cheesecake and tiramisu. The atmosphere was nice and it was not to loud even during their peak time. Love their opening hours too, makes it a great stop to visit during any point of the day.

maple latte: average level
sesame tiramisu: PERFECT! It’s rich and milky without being too heavy — I’ll for sure buy it again.

Finally visited this place to get some dessert items and a cup of coffee to go.
They looked and tasted good!
Probably because they make it in house 👍🏻
So glad to have a little gem in my neighborhood.

I found this on Google and looking for a place to get a quick bite in between work.
It's right off the main drag but a little confusing of where to find it in the building.
The atmosphere was clean but nothing fancy. The staff were good at service but not overly outgoing.
I (unfortunately) chose the bagel breakfast sandwich over one of the baked goods that looked so good. I saw a similar review of this very sandwich that it was bland, if you were a vegetarian it is extra bland removing the peppers and bacon - There is no cheese or sauce of any kind so literally you get a wilted piece of spinach and an egg that tastes too much like egg fried rice. Removing those two items, it would have been nice for the staff to let me know that it was going to be just two items in the bagel. In addition they don't let you know that they panini press it, so your bagel turns into a very concentrated piece of flatbread. Bagels are meant to be somewhat fluffy and crispy, this is not that.
I also got an iced oat milk latte, which wasn't bad but wasn't great.
I don't feel that the breakfast sandwich and the drink should have been $17.
I doubt I will be back even if I'm in the area.

Dropped by this café for some coffee and cheesecake — and wow, the cheesecake was so good! Super creamy and just sweet enough. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Also the place was really clean and chill. Definitely coming back!

Just stopped in and grabbed some matcha, can't remember what my friend got, but we both enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was lovely, warm lighting, not too loud, the matcha was a tiny bit clumpy. But overall the flavor was good. Open street parking around.

Good vibes but lowkey food wasn’t the best I got the tiramisu was really bitter more like I was eating coffee powder instead of tiramisu

Popped into TERAs Bean for coffee and a treat last weeks and overall were underwhelmed. Service was decent, but the staff aren’t really friendly or outgoing. Coffee was good, but the food wasn’t great for the price. Bagel was bland, and the tarts were just decent.

One of the best coffee in town. The cheesecake tastes good too. I've only tried earl grey cheesecake, but they have a few others. This cafe is now on my list of favorites.
