The food here was tasty. I really enjoyed the flavours and the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The server seemed unhappy and unwelcoming, which was disappointing, especially since Thai hospitality is usually so warm and friendly. Itβs a small, family-run spot, so I was hoping for a more inviting experience. I truly hope they can work on elevating the overall experience and service, because the food itself really deserves it.

Was randomly craving for Thai food and was in the area. I was not disappointed with this amazing Pad Thai for lunch which comes with a spring roll and small salad for $17. You can request the Pad Thai spicy and was phenomenal! The staff are extremely friendly and warm! Check this place out for amazing authentic Thai food! Definitely coming back!

Had the prawns in a blanket YUM. Followed by Pad Basil with chicken and tofu - so absolutely tasty. Each mouthful was a different flavor. You could taste the grill. 100% recommend. Support local small businessβ£οΈ

1. Tasty and authentic!
2. Friendly staff and good vibe!
This place is cold during winter. Food wise, it's ok. Red curry is good with a nice portion. Pad Thai noodles is kinda bland. Eggplant with basil is ok too. Overall, average Thai restaurant.

Ordered takeout many times at this place.. Hit or miss. The seasoning has been so inconsistent for the pad thai. Extremely disappointing because when they season it properly, its the best pad thai ever.
Super good,fresh, lots of options.
good thai food. tried many dishes and enjoyed them all. make sure to get spicy for more of an authentic taste.

Ordered curry on uber and no rice came with it.. so shocked :(
Curry is too watery, the potato (I dont know why there is potato in curry)is undercooked. This is the worst Thai curry Ive ever had
The curry dishes etc. have all been good that I have tried.
However, I ordered Pad Thai today and it was not edible. It was a sloppy greasy mess, I had two bites and couldn't continue.
I've never not enjoyed it at local restaurants, or in Thailand - where I ate it almost daily all over the place for months.
I was looking forward to returning to a staple, but unfortunately the result has completely turned me off of Thai Chef.
That's my personal take, I would reiterate that the other dishes I've had have been good. I may revise my rating slightly, but this dish really turned me off and I don't know if I will go back.
The people are really nice, and if you don't plan on ordering Pad Thai It's worth a try.
Went here for the first time and it was great. Meals were fairly priced and solid portion sizes. The woman who was taking orders and was at the front was great and made the experience even better. Best Thai food I've had in the Coquitlam/burquitlam area
Food was delicious, unlike many reviews here we actually found the portions to be a decent size. The service was really great and just seems like a very quaint restaurant.
