Melting Mango

The staff at the restaurant were generous and welcoming. They made sure I was happy with my meal, and they’re just overall amazing people. In addition the food was fantastic. Overall, I’d give this place a 10/10. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely not only the worst thai food, the worst take out we've ever had. Green curry tasted like slime, was extremely spicy when we ordered mild, and the spring rolls were BLACK they were so burnt. Absolutely disgusting. PS: Doordash refused to refund or even offer a partial credit and we called the restaurant and there was no answer repeatedly.

I ordered pad Thai noodles with shrimp from the friendly manager Peng and he asked “how spicy, mild, medium or hot”? And I replied “hot please”. Within six minutes later made by Chef Willis, I was enjoying my pad Thai noodles and spring rolls which were delicious. Yet after a few bites I realized the pad Thai noodles were way too spicy that I ordered so I went back to Peng asking if they could add more noodles without any spice to help reduce the spiciness and I’ll gladly pay for the extra noodles as it was my mistake. Right away without hesitation Peng kindly offered to remake the pad Thai and less spicy at no charge. I said “not necessary and please just add more noodles”. Chef Willis added more noodles and mixed everything together and he even apologized for making it too spicy, considering it was my fault. They were both so kind and accommodating to making me happy. Ever since this kind service and delicious food, I’ve gone back several times and the Thaigo Brentwood is the jewel in Brentwood Mall and I highly recommend to trying out as you won’t be disappointed and enjoy.Thank you Peng and Chef Willis!

UPDATEFollow up Tofu Green Curry แกงเขียวหวาน was phenomenal, super yummy delicious and a plentiful portion with plenty of veggies and tofu goodness! Thank you so much, I cannot wait to eat it again!! This place is awesome!Ordered a lunch Pad See Ew ผัดซีอิ๊ว via UberEats which was a huge letdown. I specifically asked for minimal and small amount of noodles, as you can see these are uncooked and clumpy Pad Thai noodles and not Pad See Ew type at all and they were not stir fried with any egg! How is this deemed a Pad See Ew?I also ordered on top of normal tofu and veggies with the main, and paid around six dollars extra for an extra veggies and tofu portion which I counted around four measley pieces each, tops.Definitely no value for money and will avoid, sorry to be harsh but I feel more than ripped off here.

Thought the Pad Thai is a little too saucey. The Tom Yum Soup Noodles tasted normal for food court food. The Thai tea bear was pretty good but doesn't seem too authentic. Puppy ice cream was sweet (the good kind) but more icy than creamy. There were extremely cute to take pictures of but a little overpriced.

Their chicken Pad Thai was very good. I think it is better than most restaurants in whole Vancouver in terms of taste, price and portion. Their chicken was tender and pretty generous.

I came here twice since it's rare to see Thai food in food courts. Really reasonable for the quality andlarge portion. The owner (?) is nice and accomodating. First time I got tom yum soup and pad thai which were both good and exceed regular food court quality. The food also comes out really fast. I came back to try the Thai Tea bear drink and got a lemon grass fried chicken, wasn't dissapointed! However, this order was less authentically thai than the other two items I ordered before. I was confused with the bad reviews since my experiences have been good so far. I wouldn't apply the same standards with a food court place to restaurants, but I think this place definitely tops for a food court branch and is a good pick if you are in the mall.

Fried rice is good but this beef has absolutely no flavor at all. I've had both chicken and beef, both meat are bland. The good thing about this order is that it was steaming hot.
