Not what I expected out of a bao place. Service was rushed, and the bao was not at all what I think of when I think of bao. Filling was runny, but the breading was too wet. Overall not impressed, would rather go to The Boss Bakery in Crystal Mall tbh

Best steam buns in Canada. Beware they sell out fast so I would definitely call and make sure they have spicy chicken buns left. Cause sometimes they are sold out.

THEY ARE CLOSING NEXT WEEK ?. New condo development. I guess I’ll stock up on 4000 baos today. They say they’ll be opening in a new location in a few months…please be true

The Bao Place is an absolute delight! They've got all sorts of flavors/fillings here, even some creative ones that you might not see in other places. Everything is priced very reasonably and I can confidently say after tasting nearly the entire menu that there's not a bad bao to be found here. For me, this is the best bao place in the area by far.

Good price and size, and the buns are delicious! Was a bit skeptical at first as I grew up eating them and can be quite picky with my buns. The texture of the bun is just right and there's a good amount of filling inside so it doesn't feel like you're just eating dough without anything. Smells really go inside but no place to seat so definitely a to go thing. The smell some drinks, including soya drink as our traditional breakfast. They offer cold or hot (it's really just warm). Street parking around the area and just on the street so hard or miss! Walkable to skytrain and bus stops for people who don't drive.

First time going, and wish I'd gone sooner. I tried out 3 different buns, and they were all super tasty, especially the veggie - that one's a knockout!Unfortunately, their last day is this Jun 25. They have to close due to condo development :(

My favourite place to grab baos. My favourites are the pork deluxe and BBQ pork delight. Prices range from 4.25-2.75. We live in Ontario and when in town we always stop by to buy a couple of dozen to take home and freeze so we can enjoy them until our next trip out west. Great location right across from Metrotown. Meter parking right out front

Ordered pork deluxe, bbq and belly belly.Pork deluxe is just so nice! I got it from shop to home and microwaved for 20 seconds. Nice and warm.Bbq was a little bit salty, but was okay! I love them!Belly belly was just so-so. ?Staff was really kind tho?

my wife and i had an appointment near metrotown mall so we stopped in for a take out lunch. my wife had the beef and pork and i had the chicken and beef - 2 buns each. they were quite savory, tasty and good. the buns were perfect. counter service is friendly and helpful.

Best bao in town! There was a lot of hype around Bao Place but it totally lived up to it. I ordered the belly belly pork and the spicy chicken. So mouth-wateringly delectable! My partner ordered the bbq pork bun (marked with pink dot) and curry beef (yellow dot). He admitted that they were the best that he has had as well. The thing that distinguishes these buns from most that I have had elsewhere is that the skin is thinner, fresher and that there is more filling. It is higher quality filling too, not too fatty but just the right amount. This makes it worth the price for us. We will definitely return. It is also nice to support local family businesses.

Tried beef, chicken and pork. Beef was better than others but very doughy with a very little portion of beef in the middle. Most of it is basically dough!

Nicely packed! Ordered via uberEats. I really enjoyed the creative signature options and classic baos available.

This place is SO DELICIOUS words can’t even describe it. 100% recommend trying the BBQ pork bun! So good

Lot more expensive than your regular bao, but it's worth it! Bao is filled with lots of meat, and even the bao itself is quite tasty unlike most frozen ones.
