The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Burnaby

Came here to celebrate my Mom's bday last night, understand it was Friday night and it was busy, Food was just ok except for the Tuna tartare was good, the calamari was blend, Prime rib was just ok, too much pepper I think, everyone else in my family enjoyed their meal. The waitress was amazing.

The Keg always has great steaks. We had a great dinner tonight. I ordered the filet mignon, it was so delicious. The Billy Miner pie for dessert is also not to be missed. The staff is very kid friendly and the service is consistently great. We frequent the Burnaby location and we don't want to change it. We are happy to come back here again and again.

This is the best Keg location in the lower mainland.

The prime rib here is always pretty consistent and tasty.

The other foods and appetizers are always consistent.

I was served by a gentleman by the name of Gio (Geo?). He is one of the best servers I’ve ever had a pleasure of dining with.

We came to dine here for my MIL’s bday. Everyone was happy with the meal and the service. Will be back here again!

Always a classic place!

Kai is literally the best server I’ve had, thought I was at a Michelin star restaurant or at an expensive Omakase in Japan, the level of attention to detail and mannerisms was no joke

Excellent service and food! Our friends enjoyed their lobster dinner celebrating their diamond anniversary!

Our waiter was awesome friendly went over and beyond to answer any questions that we had I have celiac so no gloves free options for me I let him know and he thanked me for telling him

The food was very delightful, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great, the food came out very quickly. The best experience ever. I'll definitely come back with My bf! :)

My partner loves steak and we love to go to The Keg. We don't go often, but when we do, it's usually for something a little special. I take her out for a birthday dinner. We've gone for several years in a row now and the service has always been good. Our dinner recently was great with both the server and service being prompt. My partner had ordered the prime rib, which was cooked excellently to her liking and I had ordered the blackened chicken, which had lovely vegetable sides this season. And of course, it's always nice to see that "little" ice cream cake come out to enjoy after the meal.

Our steak was excellent. The choice of beets as a seasonal veg is very unappealing both in appearance & size,yuk. Once again (3rd time) you tried to seat us right outside your kitchen when you are only about 1/4 full. Staff should be trained to ask their guest what type of seating & where before just showing them to the worst seating locations. We had made reservations weeks ago so this should never be an issue. Our server was friendly which was nice, the staff person who delivered my salad plonked it on the table like it was a chore. We enjoy your location however it continues to be a mixed bag of unnecessary experiences.

I indicated on this app that we were celebrating two birthdays and even included our names. What's the point if the server asks us at the table then?.. I mentioned it again and nothing special happened - not even an acknowledgment. The baked potatoes for two of us were under done - typically it would be a few minutes wait since it was an error in the kitchen but we waited much longer, like it was a regular order :( By then, our meat was not warm anymore.

The most unsatisfying and disappointing experience I have EVER bad at the Keg the service was horrible service and experience I have ever had at the keg I had order a teriyaki sirloin and it was way overcooked so I sent it back and asked for a new one. The second steak I got had absolutely no flavoring, but it was cooked medium so they came back and added the teriyaki sauce and it was just absolutely disgusting. They only had comped half her bill. We had to wait for them to come back after 10 minutes to ask if my second steak was ok it was not had ZERO flavour I am extremely upset with how this was handled the food and service it was my 30th birthday dinner and was looking forward to eating at the Keg I have nothing but good experiences in the past at the Keg the usually fix everything right away bring you a new steak or what ever it may be! This was by far THE WORST KEG experience of my life for my 30th birthday!! I wasn't able to enjoy the second steak as it has ZERO flavour so I ended up giving it to my dog ! They have me free cheesecake and Billy miner pie but still doesn't count for my horrible mean that I couldn't even enjoy !!

The food is always great and our waitress was good and attentive. That being said there came a point where dessert and coffee was ordered. Dessert came with the bill and no coffee. The waitress forgot to add the coffee to the bill and instead of leaving the bill the way it was due to her mistake she added it to a new bill, still no coffee and started to take payment before we were done. I felt rushed and we didn't get our coffee until dessert was already finished.

The keg is awesome. Our waitress is amazing. Lisa is always professional, nice and experienced. She is one of the best. Food was excellent!
