I had a pretty good experience overall. The highlight for me was definitely the fish cutlet — it tasted super fresh and was honestly the best dish we ordered.
The chicken nugget fried rice used to be my absolute favorite growing up, but this time the flavor was a bit disappointing compared to how I remembered it. The Dan Dan noodles were alright — not bad, just not standout.
That said, the portions are still very big, which is always a plus. Solid spot overall, with some hits and a few misses

It’s not our first time at this restaurant. We went to satisfy our cravings after visiting Metrotown. We always order the same food every time- but for some reason, today’s food tasted off- the Chicken Nugget Fried Rice- which is our favorite. We were not able to finish our food cause it really tasted different- my partner and I shared, we left almost half. We called the attention of the staff and they apologized and said they will flag the kitchen- but I’m leaving a review and keeping a copy of my receipt. Not sure if this is an isolated experience or if they have changed their recipe or something in the food was old. This happened January 14, 2026.

It was so very good. Strong family vibe. Staff friendly and enjoyed the atmosphere. Portions are big, like very big. Will definitely go back. The deep fried tofu was SO good. Was going to take photo of our food, like typical however when the food came we just dived into. So I posted the photo of the aftermath.

I always order the Egg & Prawn Fried Rice along with the Deep-Fried Squid Tentacles whenever I visit — and they never disappoint. The flavors are consistently satisfying, and the rest of their menu is just as delicious. Definitely one of the best Taiwanese restaurants to try in BC.
