Togo Sushi SFU

No wifi for customers despite being next to a university. Bento boxes come with a side of yam fries? A bit overpriced. Small restaurant but waitresses don't bring food to the table. There are buzzers, new customers often don't know how to turn them off and so you're constantly interrupted by loud beeping. Food is good otherwise.

It's a good place to have sushi on top of Burnaby Mountain.

However I always got Taco Nigiri whenever I ordered Toro Nigiri. Tonight was the fourth time it happened and that's been extremely disappointing experiences.

Ordered veggie combo, and I was served baby portions with 2 and a half slivers of ginger.

I ordered chopped scallop roll and negi toro roll to go when they first opened the store. I am quite disappointed that both rolls are falling apart as I pick them up, and the rice are quite hard. I wish I could take my tip back because this doesn't taste good at all. Will not go back anytime soon

I requested them to switch out the spicy teriyaki sauce on my roll and give me the regular teriyaki sauce instead and they charged me 50 cents. How does it make sense? I had this done many times in the past and they never charged me for the substitution and apparently the policy now has changed? Spicy teriyaki = spicy ingredient + teriyaki. Regular teriyaki = only teriyaki. Someone please do the math…

TOGO Sushi SFU is probably the best sushi option on top of Burnaby Mountain. The rolls are filling, affordable compared to nearby restaurants, and the interior of the restuarant is clean and bright. I have always had a good interactions with staff and orders come out timely. Solid spot!

Amazing food and service🔥🔥🔥

This is hands down the best Togo Sushi location in the Greater Vancouver Area. I’ve tried all the others, mistakenly assuming they’d be the same, but Togo SFU truly stands out. Their sushi rolls, bento boxes, and seared rolls are unmatched. Even though there’s another Togo Sushi closer to me, I happily make the drive to SFU because I know the food will always be delicious.

Great food, but a little small in quantity. I found two black hairs in my Udon as well, which upset me.
