Very good ( mini doughnuts, squares shaped cinnamon, sugar ) simple, fresh, good. Prices for $6.00 deal. follow by the BBQ Pork Doughnut that was good. Lucky it was not Texas spicy hot pork, if so i would had been burning ( cant take spicy food ). Lucky, it was not and i am happy its so fresh, good! Other doughnuts looks great and yummy!
I just tried my first one at the No Car Day on Commercial Drive. I had high hopes for an amazing donut, since the presentation was amazing. I got the tiramisu and was instantly disappointed. I love a soft, squishy, moist donut. I'm fine with a denser donut as long as it is moist and tender. Sadly, the dough was tough and dry. My guess is the dough is overworked? We visited the booth at the New West farmers’ market today and got chicken adobo and strawberry cheesecake donuts. So yummy! We haven’t tried a savoury donut before, and chicken adobo turned out to be a nice mixture of flavours. It hit a spot during our walk home. Strawberry cheesecake donut was amazing - filling was smooth and rich and there was so much of it. Will definitely try out a few other varieties in the future.
