This bakery is fantastic! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious, but the pistachio pretzel is our absolute favorite. The flavors are spot on, and it’s always fresh. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Definitely worth a visit!

Got the strawberry ice scone and the pistachio pretzel on ubereats. The scone was way better than I thought considering it's low fat and zero sugar so I'll be purchasing that more often.
The pistachio pretzel wasn't bad but it wasn't spectacular either. Someone else might really enjoy it so I would recommend trying this bakery - it does live up to its name

Unique Bakery is absolutely adorable. As you walk in, your greeted by a wall of different breads, the smell of freshly baked goods, and a lovely shopkeeper.
While they specialize in pretzels, it would seem, they also have an assortment of scones and buns! I picked up their matcha mochi bun and really enjoyed it. Oh, and they have a limited stock of Hokkaido milk bread.
I was lucky enough to grab the last loaf when I visited. It tasted fantastic and lasted me a couple of days! It was good as toast with jam, or butter. And I loved dipping it in egg yolk. The creamy, fluffy, and buttery goodness that was the Hokkaido bread. The loaf was so worth it. I dream about that loaf of bread every night now.
Parking: There's quite a bit of space along the two street sides to park on.
Wheelchair accessibility: Bakery is ground floor with a large door so wheelchairs can fit through.

A bakery with a great atmosphere!
yum yum?
The texture of the pretzel bread is all very good, quite chewy, the European-style bread is tasty too, but it's a bit pricey.

Low sugar & low oil is what this bakery strives for. I actually had no idea when I went but read it here on their Google maps listing. It all makes sense now.
If you go here expecting it to be like other asian bakeries, you may be disappointed... or also pleasantly surprised.
I bought their pistachio pretzel bun, black sesame scone, and chocolate mochi bun.
After tasting the pistachio pretzel bun I said "this tastes so healthy, I think my mom would like it". Very little sweetness. Bun was a little tough and didn't have a strong pistachio taste. My tastebuds told me I didn't like it but my hand kept going for more.
The black sesame scone was good. Had a strong black sesame taste, the scone was well cooked, and the black sesame cream cheese filling was delicious.
This bakery fills a different niche. It has low sugar and oil and your expectations must be adjusted with the reality that sugar and oil is literally what we've evolved to consider delicious.
Other thoughts:
- It's expensive. They say it's because of the high quality ingredients but I don't know what ingredients they use. I also think it has to do with the fact that the location is pretty bad with low foot traffic. Many stores have closed down on this street over the years.
- Selection of baked goods is low. When I go to other bakeries, I go with the expectation to buy 4-6 varieties of bread. Here, 70% of the selection is pretzel based (with some flavor variations) and I think I would only get 2-3 max here.
I'm giving them 4 stars because they surpassed my expectations for a low sugar low oil bakery. However, when I am craving bread, it wouldn't be the first place to come to mind.

I bought 7 items from this place which included the matcha bun & bread, rose mochi bun, chocolate bun, rose scone, earl grey bread, and the sesame bread. The rose scone was fantastic and I would definitely go back to try out more of their different flavoured scones. The chocolate bun was delicious as well! The buns and bread were a bit too tough for me even after microwaving them at home to make it a bit softer (which they recommend), and the bread and filling aren’t sweet at all so heads up! The workers are super nice and offered me buns that seem to be sold out that day, as they were making some more at the back. It seems that their goal is to make desserts that are low sweetness, but since I have a sweet tooth and are sure many other too share the same tastes, definitely get the scones!! They absolutely amazing!

My 3rd time here within 1 week!! The scones and buns are my favorites, you must try this place!
This bakery is my absolute favorite and they have the most delicious scones, buns and pretzel buns! The scones have the a creamy filling and nice texture. The buns are so soft and fluffy with delicious fillings. Pretzels are better than I imagined and the perfect balance of flavor and texture. All items are best warmed up I found. As seen in the photos, you will devour the baked goods before you make it back to your car!
