Villa bistro is located in the delta burnaby....its the only breakfast option within a few kms with the exception of a Starbucks kiosk in the lobby...so this review isn't as much about quality atmosphere or service...its about value for money...call me delusional if you must but $19 for a standard 2 egg breakfast with potatoes toast and a meat option seems crazy...maybe I could see it if the coffee was included....or maybe it's just because it's the area....I don't know

Villa Bistro has a pleasant atmosphere and the service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the breakfast didn’t live up to the setting. The avocado toast was disappointing, they used a processed-tasting paste instead of fresh avocado. The potatoes were overly greasy, and the eggs Benedict lacked flavor and balance. Overall, it’s a nice spot to sit and enjoy good service, but the food needs improvement to match the ambiance.

Amazing place. I have been delaying of going to eat breakfast there. Everything is great there. Staffs are friendly. Food is good and great value. Better than going to other breakfast places. Of course, other places have different things. However the whole experience is amazing.

The breakfast was surprisingly good for what you can normally get as free from staying at the hotel. It opened at 6:30 am, so you can have lots of time enjoying your breakfast before work, if you can get up early.

If you're planning on going here for drinks - WATCH YOURSELF!!! The Grand Villa Casino Security is inconsistent & incompetent in doing a decent job. They assume, jump to conclusions, treat patrons very badly, & act like they are police following the code blue all united as one & it doesn't matter who you talk to - to make a complaint as they don't want to hear it or deal with anything appropriately. The police should start to patrol this venue often to investigate BC Liquor violations in following Serving It Right standards. They over serve patrons, do not have socially responsible signs posted at their bars, let intoxicated crazy characters hang around, if it's not directing intoxicated patrons to leave responsibly and ensure they do, they will treat you like sh*t if you're a little buzzed & will ban you for 6 months based on "how they feel" & what their "mood" is like. If they aren't under regulating or over regulating their patrons they're nowhere to be found when crazy drunk people are stalking, harassing, or getting in your face and chasing after you. Security chooses to listen, favor, & take the side of all the bad guys as opposed to the really good decent people. Security here doesn't want to investigate any complaints. They have a go away closed door attitude & won't care how they treat you. That includes the security supervisors. They don't & won't do anything to investigate serious complaints, instead the security manager will tell you to speak to BCLC. BCLC will tell you, "No, talk to the security at the casino. The security team here does not have dignity or respect. I do not recommend going here for drinks. It's a total sh*t show & security can't be trusted as they're all shifty & shady.

My friend and I visited for breakfast. I had just come out of the hospital and this was my first meal in 2 days. I couldn't eat my meal and Evangeline, the server made suggestions and took it back to the kitchen without question. Thank you for your kindness and excellent customer service Evangeline!! We were originally going to go to Atlas.Then saw signs they had a Buffett. We should have went to Atlas. The only good thing I had was the soup . My wife had said to me you may not like the menu, but I saw that they had beef stroganoff, so that’s why we paid to go on. Their ‘beef stroganoff ‘ actually resembled closer to diarrhoea. When I think beef stroganoff, I think, mushrooms, onions, in Pasta. No, this was just a pan of mush. And I never picked any fish for some reason the meat from the carving station kept giving me the taste of fish . But at least we had some entertainment because there was this worker there that yelled at two different coworkers, right in front of my wife and I.” you are not my boss, so quit treating me like you are.!” In very short time later, we got to watch her manager chew her out right at the cashier stand. Then she promptly grabbed her bag from the stand, and marched into the kitchen The dessert table (if you can call it that) what is the bulls? Pathetic attempt at a desert stand. Two different cakes, cinnamon, donut balls, and a tiny little plate fruit to choose from. There was an ice cream maker. Definitely not worth $33 per person
