The sandwich tastes not too bad but feels pretty devoid, and even the coffee is too bland. I think the owner should be more generous with their ingredients and make an effort to clean the environment.

Basil chicken with rice was our option, but the portions were not quite enough, guess because of the rising cost all over. The dining experience was average. the food court is very noisy. not a good place to spend your time. I prefer this dish has its less oil and is not over-processed food.

My go to is usually Vina at mall food courts. A few months ago, this place was fine. I always order the same dish, spicy basil chicken. This time the chicken was inedible. Obviously, from reading the recent reviews, this location has gone downhill. The basil chicken was so old, boiled/reheated repeatedly as the small broken down pieces of chicken meat were dark brown, mealy and had the grossest texture. The spring roll was a dark brown and gummy/chewy, a result of being re-deep fried. Will never visit them again.

We bought a beef noodle bowl and a sandwich for C$25. The broth was just hot water instead of a real broth with pork or beef bones. The beef contained stringy sinew, and some chopped onion. The sandwich has some pieces of chicken slices of cukes and carrots. Very basic, tasteless, no extras, probably because of the high lease on the premises. We will buy burgers at A & W instead.

Vina Vietnamese tries to offer fresh Vietnamese food at a quick rate. This is something they fall short of. I ordered the lemongrass pork on noodles which was cold and had minimal flavour. The pork chop was disappointedly thin and small. The one positive thing I have to say is that the food came out super quickly. Overall, I would not be ordering from Vina again and would chose one of many other stalls in the mall to eat at.

people be hating just to hate
always get food from them whenever I'm at metro, portions are more than enough for me, usually can't even finish the entire thing. never had a bad experience with them + there is almost never a line

Worst lemongrass chicken rice I've had, super dry, old, hard, almost tasteless. Better off eating something else.

Went to buy a pop can fenta, they charged me $6.04 for just single can! Went back to confront but the manager refused to acknowledge the charge and even asked me to leave even though I was trying to resolve the issue, when asked for her name she gave me a fake name. Worst place I’ve ever been to, poor service!

I recently tried Vina Vietnamese at Metrotown and was left extremely disappointed. I ordered the basil chicken with vermicelli, a side of spring rolls, and a shrimp salad roll.

The only decent part of the meal was the fried spring rolls. The basil chicken, on the other hand, was completely flavorless—so bland that even adding hoisin and hot sauce couldn’t salvage it. It had no depth, no seasoning, nothing.

The shrimp salad roll was passable, but the peanut sauce was a disaster. It was watery, lacked richness, and tasted like a cheap imitation rather than real peanut sauce.

To make matters worse, the meal cost $25—way too much for something so utterly disappointing. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. But if you prefer overpriced, uninspired, and un-authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place for you.

Would not return.

Instant coffee did not taste like Vietnamese coffee at all. The "crispy" roll was just chewing, bland and probably sitting out all day...not fresh. Will definitely avoid Vina in the future

Taste OK, but my tongue not feeling easy after eating the Noodles and Chicken here, the soup is too hot that burn my mouth and meat are special treated, not feeling like the taste of popular Pho Restaurants. Will not try again.

Don't order the iced coffee if you're expecting real Vietnamese iced coffee. Tasted like G7 instant coffee (and saw another review that it is instant coffee) that you could get for 1/25 of the price here... Felt like daylight robbery. Beef pho was fine though, nothing bad but nothing special.
