Nice service, the food was not worth $50 for me and my child.

Ok White Spot, you know I love you. Truly. As an easterner (or an Ontario gal) I have come to appreciate a messy burger and some awesome zoo sticks. The zoo sauce is my fave. We truly enjoy eating at this location because of the car-hop dining experience outside.
Tonight, Norman was our server and he was fabulous! Props to Norman. The host at the door was super friendly.
I ordered the Cobb salad - and it was awful!
If you look up a pic of a Cobb salad, the toppings are all layered in colours and it’s quite lovely to look at. This was NOT it. The ingredients are supposed to be layered out in rows - not all mushed together as a big bowl of soggy lettuce. The presentation of the Cobb salad is one of its defining features. Just do a google search of pics and ask yourself if what you’re serving even remotely resembles it.
My salad was a large bowl of finely chopped iceberg lettuce soaked in dressing with an avacado sliced across the top and a hard boiled egg quartered around the outside. There was a full piece of chicken plopped in the middle.
I wish I had taken a picture when my food arrived. It didn’t even look appetizing.
The “back bacon” was more like little cubes of chopped deli ham. No crunch at all. It was all mushed into the chopped lettuce and corn - the big bowl of soggy chopped lettuce.
So. Whitespot, you do burgers super well. My kids inhaled theirs. You do milkshakes really well. Your pirate packs are legendary.
But this salad shouldn’t even be on the menu.
Norman gifted us a free dessert to make up for the salad debacle. Thank you Norman!
I’ll stick to burgers.

Had a very good meal. Salmon burger excellent, also bacon cheddar burgers. Fries were perfect, crisp and not salty.

This White Spot used to be my go-to for a quick, enjoyable meal, but my recent visits have been disappointing enough to make me reconsider coming back.
On my last two visits, I was served by Nicole—once in car dine-in and once inside during dinner service. Both times were a letdown.
The first time, I ordered a Legendary Burger with a veggie patty but was given meat instead. The fries were soggy as well. Since it was Pirate Pak Day and the staff were clearly overwhelmed, I gave the benefit of the doubt, tipped, and let it go.
Tonight, however, was a different story. Nicole seemed rushed in every interaction, rarely staying long enough to even hear me out. She never came by to offer drink refills. When I asked for extra ketchup, it took 15 minutes to arrive. I also ordered extra fries with my burger—the kitchen had them ready, and I could clearly see them sitting on the counter from where I was seated for 10–15 minutes before Nicole finally brought them over. By then, they were cold and soggy. I also asked for mayonnaise, which never came until my check.
I tried to give feedback politely, mentioning that I’ve had better service at this location and expected more. I still tipped, but I received no acknowledgment—not even a simple “sorry” or “I’ll do better next time.” That lack of basic courtesy is what made me escalate to the manager. While the manager did apologize, it didn’t feel like enough to balance out the experience.
To be clear, I know this location is capable of excellent service. Bowen, Vanessa, Simon, and a few others have given me great experiences here before. But after tonight, I’m left questioning whether I should keep coming back.

If you’re looking for a burger that tastes like heaven, you should definitely try this place. We ordered a Monty Mushroom and a Double Double. With one of the burgers we also got fries, which they served with a tasty and unique coleslaw. Our total for two burgers, fries, and two drinks (Coke and Mango No No Mojito) came to $55.88.
Our server’s name, I think, was Katrina, and she was such a positive and energetic person. Hope to see you again:)

Restaurantji Recommends
When i went to this restaurant, I was served by the most kind and bubbly server. She recommended a lot of good appetizers and had lots of good choices for alcohol. I really enjoyed her recommendation for the berry blast. Next time I visit i am sure to look for my server Jerykah!

The food has always been very good at this location, service is good, and the prices are also pretty good. The one complaint is that the floors are very dirty and so was the washroom. A good vacuuming would be very helpful.
