How the Legendary Burger has gone down hill. This used to be the best burgers in town but at this location it is the worst. Dried out meat patty hardly any triple o sauce and a boring flavorless bun. Small amount of over cooked fries and terrible coleslaw! Don’t waste your money.

There's been a power outage in parts of BC for over 10 hours today (some 200k+ without power). Understandably, when we got to the White Spot, Kensington Square, there was a crowd of folk looking to get a meal. Under these circumstances, the service was as good as could be expected. Emma, our server, was a delight. She kept checking in us even though she had so many tables to manage. Christine, the AGM was brilliant! Calm, welcoming, beautiful warm smile that let us know she had everything under control and we'd be seated as soon as was possible. Jeferson (one f) the GM was dealing with everything else to ensure things went smoothly, and still had time to offer us a free dessert because our meal had been delayed.

I used to love WS.
It’s where our family used to go to have a decent meal and not break the bank. I
t’s where we took our elderly for brunch, and met our friends for a beer after work.
The food was decent, the service was sweet and the restaurant was clean.
Over the past 4 years, it’s been going downhill. Food portions shrunk, quality of food suffered, and staffing seems to be an issue.
Not to mention, at the same pricing as other close-by higher end restaurants (CC & Earls) offering similar menus, the value at Whitespot isn’t there anymore. You pay similar pricing for lesser quality food.
Last visit: food came out at different time for a family of 4, condiments missing and or wrong, food was cold, the burgers are shrinking in size, the fish & chips were stale and cold.. the family did not eat together and did not enjoy the food. Server was running ragged but seldom at the table to deal with issues.
It needs to go back to its glory days as THE best spot for families. White Spot needs to go back to being THE SPOT!

We picked up our order food was very good. The best was the young person that answered the phone and took the order, "Tano"
he has a friendly strong voice. Very pleasant manner on the phone.

I was not able to stay to finish my whole meal with my family unfortunately. But otherwise the restaurant itself was awesome. I love White Spot as is so I may be a little bias. But the location is easy to find, the staff were amazing, and for a weekday lunch it was not so busy as to be uncomfortable.
Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian & vegan options as well as gluten free. And if you basket yourvwaitress/waiter they usually can accommodate any needs you may have.
Parking: Lots of parking even right in front of restaurant plus it's free.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.. they have pirate pics and highchair.
Wheelchair accessibility: They are completely wheelchair accessible from the front door to the tables to the rest rooms.

Food was quick and hot but their prices too me are getting to expensive. $8.60 alone for 2 drip coffees is a bit much. Will go again but not as much as I used to. Was $70 for 2 for breakfast and a grilled cheese for my son.
Our server was friendly and service was good however.
