Arrived about 11:30. 30 minutes after opening. Delicious chicken curry pasta! Though chicken a bit dry. Copper top table was icy cold, coffee cup was icy cold, plates were icy cold, fork, knife & spoon also icey cold. I mean ICY! The food and tea both served in frigid table wear. SERVER WAS LOVELY. Nice surroundings and decor. Please put the heat on sooner or heat up the plates & mugs. Tea cooled off quickly.

We had a very bad experience with the server’s behavior. We left a $5 tip on a $50 bill, and she frowned, pulled the machine away, and acted very rudely. We don’t believe tipping is our obligation, as it’s the restaurant’s responsibility to pay their staff, and tips should never feel mandatory.
Unfortunately, even though we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, we told all our friends who were planning to visit this restaurant not to go, simply because of how disrespectful the young server was. She was a very young woman with glasses and black hair. Even if I had decided not to leave a tip at all, she had absolutely no right to treat us the way she did.

Great food with large portions and friendly staff. The pictures others posted the plates seemed smaller but they are actually quite large. Loved the pita bread, very fresh and soft. The ceasar salad was tasty as was chicken and rice. Potatoes were a little plain but otherwise cooked nicely. It was fairly busy today from people watching the Blue Jay's game.
I came to this restaurant as neighbours spoke highly of it. I lost one neighbor late last year (Diane) and it was her favorite restaurant next to Ambit.
I will be returning here and so will a friend who treated me to dinner and drinks. We both thought it was a wonderful place. Though both of us admit we thought originally it wasn't a restaurant based on its name.
