I was disappointed yesterday to pay over 60$ for 4 burger specials which is advertised as $9.95. It was mandatory that they add a can pop to each meal which they charge a whopping $4 for. We didn’t even want the pop but had to pay for them anyway as part of the meal.

Just your no frills spot on Hastings. Was tempted by a cheap meal - $7.95 for lunch. I got the cheese burger and it was not bad for the price. Came with a salad. The chicken souvlaki was okay too - filling with rice and pita but nothing wow or flavourful. Had to buy a drink - pop was around $4 and was super flat.
Wouldn’t come back again but can say I tried it!

X-site restaurant, clearly named after its excellent food and exciting experience. Owner is a friendly and memorable character. Quite popular restaurant with often a line, on Mondays. Nevertheless, the line moves fast and tables are always spacious and clean. Food comes very quickly. I almost always get the peppercorn steak, medium rare and it’s phenomenal. The washrooms are even a highlight, as they smell great and are clean. I would recommend this place any day, as the drink specials, service and food are exceptional. When grabbing your bill, the price truly is the cherry on top. A lower budget for a quality dinner, ensures I always tip BIG. I am beyond grateful places like this exist, and I want to keep coming back to support them.

We probably have had meals here about ten times over the past few years. It has been consistently great. I don't know how they can offer such large portions for an incredible price! I've usually ordered the New York steak which comes with rice, a salad, garlic bread and delicious little potatoes. The steak quality obviously isn't equal to a high end steak house, but it has always been tasty. The other day I stopped in for lunch and had the burger special. I'm very picky when it comes to burgers and this one was delicious. The patty meat was very tender. It came with a huge caesar salad. The service has always been very friendly. Even though it has been busy some evenings we have never felt rushed to leave. Every meal we have eaten has been excellent and it has been a terrific value for the price.
Parking: Most of our visits we have found parking close by. I imagine it could possibly be a little difficult finding a spot on Friday and Saturday nights. All parking is free one hour street parking.

Went here for dinner. It's relaxed and already for the Xmas season. Nicely decorated.
I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo which was a mistake as it had pesto in it. This was not a good combo. It wasn't creamy, it was watery and salty. Even my friend agreed. I asked for more sauce thinking it would fix it and it didn't. I would not order this again.
My friend had a veggie sub and it looked fantastic. Might have been a little dry.
the dinner menu says with 1 beverage but they charged us 7 dollars for 2 pepsi 1 dollar for refill they didnt let us know we wont come back

A go to, on weeknights for my wife and I. They have great dinner deals! The food portions are huge! There's usually a line in the evening but it's worth the wait! It also moves fairly fast! You can also order take out for the dinner deals ( I believe it's a dollar or so more but still well worth it!)
