Yang’s Braised Chicken Rice (Burnaby)

We had the braised boneless chicken noodle with soup for $15.49. The chicken was very tasty, but the look of the chicken wasn't too appealing it just lacked some color for the chicken. We also ordered the braised beef with rice. $15.99. The beef are not brisket , but is lean beef. Surprisingly the beef was not tough, but also tasty. The look of the beef is more appealing than the chicken. but unfortunately both dishes taste the same and both has just green and red pepper in it. If they have put different vegetables like bok Choy on one of the dishes, then we won't felt like we eating the same dishes, except they are just different meat. And they are not small portion. Both dishes tasted like homecook meal. If u misses your mom cooking, you came to the right restaurant. They r not bad dishes, not sure why they only got 2.7 stars. Service was pretty good, they kept on refilling our tea. And the restaurant is clean too, but a little bit hot on a sunny day. Bill came to $33 for 2 of us.

Good portion sizes, reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I found our new spot. I had the braised beef with 2 servings of rice and it was just under 20 dollars

One of my favourite burnaby places to visit. The food is delicious, the ambience low key but relaxing. The food is so authentic it brings me back to my China days. I always swing by every few weeks when I really have an appetite. My only feedback is to increase the rice portion a little but otherwise solid!

Yesterday, after eating their braised chicken noodles, my husband started vomiting and urinating in the middle of the night. The rice noodles I ate are fine. ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️

Y’all dirty and rude?! Poor delivery guy trying to pick up an order and the lady at the counter at Yang’s rolling her eyes, yelling and giving him attitude, for what?! For helping y’all de-li-ver your nasty cockroach infested food?? Do you think you’re a 茶餐厅 serving that level of attitude to delivery drivers?? For shame! Stop wasting retail space with your 2 Google points!

I ordered the wrong one from Richmand, so I ordered the Richmand store. After communicating with the store, the store asked the in-house chef to help deliver it to me when I got home, which saved me more than ten dollars in shipping costs. Thank you very much for the good review here. Although there were many twists and turns, the final result was the guest's ideal, thank you very much.
