I ordered the signature malatang with less spice, and my friend ordered the sesame sauce spicy dry mix. I already had high expectations because some of my friends told me this is the number one malatang place.
It really hit the spot!! So delicious. The soup had rich umami flavor and paired well with all the ingredients. The spice level was just right for me since my stomach is usually too weak to handle spiciness.

I went to Zhang Liang Malatang today and was pleasantly surprised – they’ve started offering fresh fruit for free!
The fruit is really fresh, and the restaurant is stylish and bright.
Enjoying Malatang with a side of fruit makes the whole experience even better.

Really glad I can find Zhangliang Malatang in Burnaby. The restaurant is newly furnished, looks good! The servants Ayi are very friendly. All the food are fresh with a lot of choices. There are a few kinds of flavors you can choose. Besides, offering extra sauces.
