I went Tuesday after work (5:00). There was only a few people in there so seating wasn't a problem. It was happy hour all day and only in town for work so I over ordered. Everything was really tasty and the leftovers made a great lunch the next day.
Excellent service! Warm lighting. Tasty food, served hot. Lots of dietary options, drink selections, and choices for various price points. Small tables make it difficult to order a lot of appetizers for sampling. Will definitely be back.
Went there on a Groupon package we purchased but were treated well like any regular dine in customer. We did not feel shorted and received great portions. Friendly staff and to top it all off my elderly father forgot his satchel bag and they held on to it securely until we were able to pick it up.
We went in for a nice little dinner together and all was alright. Our sweet host (small, Japanese female) was polite and smiled a lot however the tall Asian male she was working on shift with did the food serving. Neither of them came by to check on us when we were having our first few bites of our orders. I ordered a drink to go with my mini bowl but by the time I had finished my meal, it did not show up and I was still billed for it. Thankfully I did not need to pay for the drink that never showed up but all it takes is to be more attentive to our table to know that the order never showed. I wasn't expecting much service but to ask people that dine in to “tip” a certain amount or any amount is a request that needs to be refined all around! If the servers were actually doing the basics, I would consider maybe doing 10% but honestly, their employers need to be giving them a decent wage and the tips are the added “bonus/perks” of the job and not the other way around. It's kind of offsetting to be prompted for a minimum of 18% tip on the device when I was not even serviced at basic level.
Had a Groupon for a 4 course meal. Love the ramen flight, great way to try 3 different flavors. Delicious broth, finished them all. Chicken appetizer was good, not greasy. Service was great, attentive, always filling our water glass.
Service was great. Love that there's a kids menu option. Even better when there is a promo they eat free!
Worth a visit to try their Dine Out Vancouver menu. 4 course meal, including a choice of appetizer, ramen (the ramen flight is a good choice if you want to try 3 different bowls of a smaller size), dessert (mochi) and drink (includes mocktail or even sake).
When it first opened the portion size, price and quality was good. Over time prices have gone up, portion size and quality has gone down. There are better places on town, good food and deals.

I stopped for dinner and it was beginning of dinner rush. I did get seated right away. Wait staff, runners and the manager seemed to work well and got everyone served quite effectively. Food was delicious as I’ve always ordered from them before. This place deserves better ratings! Will come back again for sure.

Service was good, seated right away. Changes to kids meal were granted due to allergies, and 4 tokens were given for collecting toy afterwards. Ebi mayo was large crunchy and flavourful, spicy salmon hand roll was well done, and vegan spicy raman was delicious with a perfectly cooked hard boiled egg on the side. Sweetened green tea was a good touch to the meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant, the quality was good and quantities were large !
Hey Zubu, I’m not sure what went wrong but the soup came with a very thick layer at of oil that I had to physically remove. I ordered two bowls of ramen for the 2 for 1 deal on Uber Eats. The bowl on the bottom was what it came as and the bowl on the top is what it looked like after I removed the oil. I’ve ordered ramen many times from different restaurants and this has never happened before.
Other than that, everything else tasted great! I’ve ordered from Zubu many times before and it has always been delightful. I hope this was only a one time thing.
