We ate there today after a funeral, we had the special of fried pork & chow mein.
I kept searching for some kind of vegetable in the chow mein, but found only three or four slices of cabbage. What a disappointment, I could have ordered just noodles 🙁 my husband’s cup of tea was lukewarm water and only about 1/2 cup!
I suggest you pick up the quality because word can get around very quickly.

China Moon Restaurant in Burns Lake offers a mixed experience based on customer reviews. The food is often described as tasting great, with good portions for the price, and service is frequently noted as very friendly. One reviewer praised the amazing server and great service, while another mentioned the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere warm and pleasant. A specific meal, the special for $14.95, includes wonton soup, sweet and sour pork, chow mein, and fried rice; the pork was very crisp, the chow mein firm and flavorful, and the rice had great flavor and texture. However, other reviews highlight inconsistencies. The chicken chow mein was reported as unseasoned chicken on top of not chow mein noodles, oily and bland. The BBQ pork rice was okay but some pork tasted off, and the wontons were mediocre with bland broth. The beef and broccoli had frozen veggies and bland beef. One takeout order described the fried rice as slightly overcooked and the spring rolls as soggy after the journey home. Overall, China Moon delivers what it promises as a Chinese takeout spot, but the experience can range from good and worth returning to, to ordinary and not exceptional.
