We showed up with four rooms booked for several days and the restaurant was closed for renovations. No mention of this on their website at time of booking and no one from hotel let us know. The general manager ignored my request for a phone call the entire trip. Unprofessional.

Made reservation directly with hotel, Laura was very nice and accommodating. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and staff are excellent.

Dismal. Room keys need reloading constantly. Hot water not really hot. Bar staff in Sunday a bitter nightmare. Give this one a pass.

Room was fine and clean but had no number on the door. Counting helped. The entrance and hallway in particular are in need of renovation. Air conditioning very loud.

I stayed three nights. I was a bit concerned about the construction and being in a connected room. No worries - it was very quiet at night. During the day you have noise no matter where you are. I didn't have much to do with staff - they always said hello.
The room was clean and had reasonable supplies (towels, soaps) however the smell of old cigarette smoke was awful. As former smokers (including me) know, the things you have when you smoked still smell of horrible stale cigarette smoke years later. The hotel rooms are now non-smoking however the old smoke smell is in the curtains and fabric chair. I know management said rooms and furniture are being upgraded however it would do a lot for the room to replace the curtains and sitting chairs now. And get a leather or faux leather, not fabric. I had the fan going the entire time, otherwise the old smoke smell just kept getting stronger. This would not be comfortable for anyone with sensitivities so ask for a room where there is new furniture since the no smoking policy.

I had a CAA deal which was reasonable given the options in Campbell River. I ate elsewhere as the feedback on the restaurant made me hesitant to eat on site.
As reasonable as other hotels in Campbell River.

We recently had our wedding at the Anchor Inn. I will try to express my heartfelt gratitude here to the staff who made our day spectacular. Everyone that attended raved about the stunning scenery, exceptional food, customer service, and all-around perfection that made our day purely magical. Especially since it was only planned 3 months prior.

The flowers (table arrangements and boutiques) were so gorgeous. I wish I could have kept them alive forever.
The food was beyond ours and the guests' expectations. So delicious!
The level of effort, thought, and detail that went into decorating was exceptional. We are so full of gratitude ๐Ÿ™
I think the best part about our experience besides a truely flawless day was our interactions with the staff. The staff made us feel so special and treated us so well.

The bridal and honeymoon suits were gorgeous. The views from these rooms are just unreal.

I can't thank everyone enough and couldn't recommend a better venue to get married at. Tammy-Lynn Armstrong was the kindest, most considered wedding planner. I feel we have created lifetime friendships with the staff. They certainly hold a special place in my heart.

This place is just getting better and better as the renovations continue to occur. We are excited to see the transformation!

Thank you all for everything!!

Dated place with friendly staff. Quiet stay, ocean views. Decent restaurant, salmon burger was worth a wait. Less one star as place is aging, though they slowly renovating some units.

While the rooms could use updating, they were clean, comfortable and spacious.

My family and I were comfortable, and what more can you ask?

I absolutely loved and enjoyed my stay here, I booked 2 nights in a theme room. on the first night, unfortunately, it was miserable, at no fault to the staff! I had extremely loud & rule breaking neighbors due to a wedding party. The staff Chris was incredible, and the manager Beverly was amazing!! Once the staff became aware of the situation, they handled it with complete professionalism & I was given an additional night at no cost to enjoy the 2 nights in relaxation that was paid for. I have stayed here twice before with great experiences. The restaurant has a beautiful view and a great menu. There is a pool and small gym on site as well as massage spa. It's the most relaxing Waterfront hotel. You can watch the cruise ships go by from your room or jacuzzi tub! ( limited rooms with jetted tub option) The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are amazing. I usually do a review for restaurants after 3 separate dinnings if it's local, as restaurants have different chefs and rotating staff, and I want to give an honest review. This was my 3rd stay at the hotel and restaurant, I don't know if the restaurant still opens for breakfast as the waitress mentioned it may stop doing breakfast, so I'd ask upon booking. The only complaint I had upon 3 separate stays had nothing to do with the hotel or staff, just inconsiderate guests. The response of the staff and management was 100% satisfactory.

Rooms: The king suite and theme rooms have a jetted tub.

Walkability: There is no elevator to the top 2 floors.

Food & drinks: Great restaurant on site.
