Wanted a Black Forest cake. Figured with a name like Steiner it would be a safe bet. Was not disapointed. It was excellent!
We bought 2 sandwiches and a brown loaf which were very good. What eclipsed both those was the Rhubarb and Strawberry pie which was outstanding.
Classic old school bakery. Fritters were crispy and airy. Only downside is that I had maybe one chunk of apple in it. The regular donut flavours are basic but nice fluffy dough and tasty classic toppings.
Fresh bread looks amazing and can’t wait to try my sourdough loaf.
