In all three chicken dishes we had the chicken was chewy. I took one star away for that because everything else was absolutely terrific. This is no, "hi, my name is Chad and I'll be your server" type of place. The service made us feel as though we were actually in the owners home and were her friends. We will be going back at least a couple of times a month.Vegetarian options: My wife was in heaven her vegetarian meal was so good.

Baan Thai has the best thai food on Vancouver Island. I ordered the pad thai, beef in oyster sauce and cashew chicken and they are all very tasty and fresh. Definitely my comfort food. The staff is very friendly and warm. Great food, great service, I would be back for sure! Highly recommended!
