We have loved coming to this location over the years, and were so pleased to see More on the Shore open here! We've been to the new restaurant 4 times, and brought out of town friends. We were all impressed by the perfectly crisp light batter, juicy fish, and portion sizes. We've even stopped by just to sample the ice cream sandwiches....the Black Forest was full of flavour , and a great treat with the chocolate cookies and cherry ice cream. Well done!
Very disappointing experience. We went on July 13 at 5:30pm. It was busy but not crazy. Ordered 2 items from the menu… a 2pc lingcod and chips, and a salt & pepper calamari. It took from 5:39pm placing the order to 6:12pm to get our order. The calamari was cold and tasteless. The lingcod was ok but not memorable by any means. Fries were pretty good but didn’t compensate for the rest. At 25 min after ordering we thought we had been forgotten. Went to the cashier to ask...
