November 3rd. I'm not very familiar with the menu, and the woman running things behind the counter was really helpful and patient with me. I ended up having an Uncle Burger lettuce wrap with onion rings and an orange juice.
There was also a couple of young men behind the counter. Everyone was working hard and efficiently, and I got service with a smile, which is rare in most places these days. I really appreciated it. Friendly service goes such a long way and can make someone's day. Thank you đ

Just got a Teen burger special with a side of fries. The fries must have been a day old and one even tasted moldy. I won't be going back there again. I've tried burgers at a number of places to compare to Wendy's. The best on so far has been at the Monty Carlo grill.

She got it all resolved ASAP and always when you call in to give them a heads up always be kind not rude :)

August 3, 2025, here for breakfast with my lovely family before leaving from the YCG airport nearby, and was appalled at the sub-par quality of customer service at this establishment.
My mom ordered a teen burger and complained that it was dry and tasteless. This already started the experience here poorly.
I ordered pancakes during their breakfast menu, and my meal came out with melted cheese on top of one of the pancakes. I went up to the front register and politely showed the cashier, who nodded and said, âoh, itâs just a little cheeseâ.
I then kindly asked her if she would please remake just the one, and she ROLLED her eyes with a dramatic sigh, yanked the plate across the counter and slammed it down on the counter behind her, loudly and irately asking the back workers if she could get a new order of pancakes.
Seriously? It doesnât come out of your cheque. Stop being so damn sulky that you have to do your job. There wasnât even anyone at the counter. What this woman did was absolutely shocking as a service industry worker and was entirely uncalled for.
I understand that this is a fast-food establishment and I shouldnât expect stellar service here, but it left an extremely sour taste in my mouth saying goodbye to my family to return to university and being publicly embarrassed by this resentful, arrogant older woman.
I feel guilty leaving such a bad review because the other younger girl was incredibly sweet and just stunning with her personability. She seemed like a positive person and was consistently in a good mood. She was extremely kind and ran the food to our table for us! She was on top of making sure everything was tidy and put away. Despite that, Iâm making this review in hopes that the management here will go over how to treat a paying customer with their staff. It seems like some of them have forgotten the proper procedure.

EXTREMELY dissappointed Walked in an hour before closing and the had the grill turned off and refused to turn it back on. I was starving after a day of driving and all they would make was chicken nuggets

Allynna and Cindy were exceptionally cheery, friendly and efficient. My all Canadian breakfast and Coffee was cooked perfectly delicious and a great value. I would highly recommend this place
Shout out to the friendly staff. Food came out fast and hot! Thank you. Looked at Google Reviews for a few other A&Wâs in neighbouring towns, and we chose this one due to good reviews which reflected our great experience. Added bonus, staff were cleaning tables!

This is one of the best A&W restaurants in BC. I have NEVER had a wrong order, and it is always made fresh, omg. SO GOOD. The staff is always cheerful, and quick to take/give the order. 100% am always coming back!

As always, a five star service. Clean restaurant and toilets. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is tasty, made with care and consistent with A&W standards. The price is great. Lots of parking. Nothing to complain about! It puts other fast food places to shame
