We had a 15 minute wait because of a hockey team coming in. We were served coffee as we waited. The food was delicious and the service above and beyond. It's a well run family restaurant.

The Bombi Restaurant offers delicious and satisfying meals for breakfast and lunch. Their eggs Benedict, garlic salt and pepper chicken wings, and a dish called "THE MOUNTAIN" are standouts. Customization is appreciated, such as subbing sausage for ham or bacon. The service is friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. They also offer gluten-free options, including safe French Fries that were cooked to perfection. The bacon is considered the best in the Kootenay Boundary. The food is prepared with care, and portion sizes are generous for the price, making it a good choice for families. The ambiance is traditional and clean, with affordable prices that reflect the quality of the meals. Many visitors appreciate the thoughtful service and the quality of the food, with some calling it the best place to eat in Castlegar, BC. Overall, The Bombi Restaurant is known for its excellent food, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere.
