Live on Vancouver Island and have summer place in Nelson... so we stop at Chopsticks every time on our way to Nelson for take out. The food has always been excellent and fairly priced.
However, this last week when we stopped by... The food was (no hyperbole) terrible! Portions were reduced by what seemed 50%, looked and tasted like it came from the frozen food section at Walmart, the chili oil wasn't oil (need to send to a lab for ingredients) and it was 90$(tip included for 2 people). OUCH.
Not going back until we hear different... too bad.

Very good Chinese stye fry cooking, better than many Chinese restaurants in Vancouver, excellent service. Highly recommend for all Chinese visitors. Definitely will come back.

I've ordered the single combos from Chopsticks a few times now and have never been disappointed. The portions are generous, with lots of flavorful meat and sauce—exactly what you'd hope for. They clearly understand what people want and deliver every time. And if you're picky, they even offer a build-your-own combo for just a couple bucks more. I’ll definitely keep ordering from here whenever I’m in Castlegar or Genelle.

First time at pickup usually eat in 20 minutes later on pick up time takeout order was placed on its side in brown bag got home on my scooter in the sweet and sour was everywhere ordered combo b only two prawns and beef chop suey was over half large celery and cabbage not impressed last time I eat here customer service sucked ay take out Counter saff not speaking English

Rude customer service from the lady who called about their website not stating the right price. Essentially told me (after an hour of waiting on my food) that it would take another hour and that it was my issue their website was wrong, continuously sighed and muttered under her breath too as I told her that issue should have been resolved when I placed the order not an hour later at the initial delivery time and got worse when I told them I would like to speak to a manager that apparently isn't even there during the week but only there on friday.
The female staff was friendly salmon sashimi is awesome 🤩
