Breads, pastries, and the obligatory espresso machine adorn this shoppe in Castlegar. Friendly folks, plenty of seating and parking make this a convenient stop. I purchased a sour dough bread and it is fabulous with a thick crust and moist interior (won't last but a few miles if I can reach from my seat in the car).
This bakery has raised my standards and expectations of baking forever! If you are lucky enough to pop in when the cheesy pretzels are still hot from the oven do not squander your good fortune! BUY TWO ?

Very cozy place to stop and grab bite to eat. Stuff were very friendly and welcoming. The food, especially croissants were topnotch quality. Variety of teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. Highly recommend!
