We just popped in New Year’s eve, a busy late morning filled with good cheer! Sitting at the counter we were amazed and the sweetness and efficiency of the young staff, even a gal on her first day was cheerful! Must be amazingly well run!

Always fresh and amazing. The best oat milk latte in the hood.
Generous portions at a reasonable price.
A great lunch spot for those of us that like to bike the railgrade or surroundings. Lots of bike parking available.

Cute coffee shop, alright atmosphere.
It wasn’t busy and it took over 20 minutes to recieve a bagel and avocado toast. It took 30+ minutes for my husband to recieve a BLT. Most of the servers were too busy talking and dancing behind the counter to do their jobs.
I hate having to leave bad reviews, but do better. Service was ridiculous. If you’re on a time crunch go somewhere else.

Great coffee shop. We went twice while in Castlegar. My wife likes the coffee she had. The hot chocolate was better than the chai but not by much.
We also had fresh out of the oven muffins that were very tasty.

So glad to find this place in Castlegar with super friendly staff and customers, delicious lattes and an outdoor seating area, in such a convenient spot for continuing on the highway to Nelson afterwards.

The BLT sandwich and triple chocolate brownie were delicious!! Would absolutely buy those two again. I'd be a regular if I lived in the area!
Fantastic coffee and great staff.
Very relaxing atmosphere and very clean. Will be back for sure.
Coffee was weak and served in a paper cup to sit down.
Stopped by Common Grounds while passing through town, and I’m so glad I did. The BLT sandwich? Hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy bacon, perfectly toasted bread, and super fresh ingredients that hit just right. As a serious coffee person, I can also say their brew is exceptional. Rich, smooth, and just a bold, satisfying cup that wakes up your taste buds. Whether you’re a foodie, a coffee lover, or just someone needing a good pit stop, this place is a gem. Definitely worth the detour.
